Well... I don't see a normal DS logo anywhere! D: Can anyone confirm it will only be for the 3DS or that it will be for both the DS and 3DS?

The 3DS is the new handheld generation. I doubt they will make it for the DS.
If they make more games for the DS the 3DS won't be sold at all.

The same thing will happen for the Wii when the Wii U is released.

There is enough time until the game is released in the US to save enough money for a 3DS anyway.

Well damn... Time to start saving up for another Xbox 360's worth...

3DS is getting a major price cut.

RF4 is still in production with no release date. And unless you are getting the Japanese version you have even more time. Couple that with the new $80 reduction in the 3DS's price and you have plenty of time to get enough money.

Well since 3ds is the new handheld I doubt they would make it for the ds too. Gotta go with the wave, accprding to nintendo XD

I heard that the 3DS has a option to turn the 3D feature off so you can just play regular DS games? Which to me makes it worth buying.

Yeah, you can play with no 3D, or just play a normal game. The quality of it does drop a little when you play with the old \er games, but it's okay. You get used to it.

I ended up getting a 3DS for Animal Crossing, but there are waaay too many games I want now. So. Much. Money. T.T

I dunno, I tried out a 3DS a couple weeks ago and even though I turned off the 3D it still felt a little weird to look at.

The 3DS is region locked, so does that mean any DS game you imported from Japan would just be useless on it unless you had a spare DS laying about? Bummer, but not too inconvinient I guess.

Yeah, I don't really buy my games in Japanese unless they're not available here at all... I really don't mind the region-lock.

The 3D annoys me a little. It makes my eyes water if it's too bright. But the 3D off is unnatural, too, so I agree.

I would buy the game for the DS if I could... Meh. -_-

Maybe it's just the fact that I need glasses, though. xD

I may love RF, but I still refuse to buy a 3DS. Maybe if nintendo makes a non-3d version of the system and charges alot less for it, I might get it then, but otherwise I refuse to give in.

Well Rune Factory 4 won't be released in English for a while, but by that time I would assume they would stop making DS games in general. Nintendo is just progressing to a new system and all. And with the price cut and all, people should be able to save up for one by the time Rune Factory 4 comes out.

Speaking of the price cut, how much is it?

I mean, the good games are just starting to be released, so I would guess the games aren't going to be cut in price.

I don't think they would stop making DS games any time soon... Some games just aren't meant for 3D. Like Pokemon, or something.
