Do you go for a certain stereotype when you marry?

lol we are not gonna get started on pink hair...

The girls I usually go after are the ones who are pretty nice, down-to-earth, wear pretty dresses, have long hair, run the flower shop, and are usually the ones that other people find boring (though the latter isn't really on purpose haha). So 64 Popuri, Lyla, Nina, Celia, Lanna, Anissa, etc.

I've only played MFoMT + AnWL in terms of being a girl, but I guess I would go for the outgoing, happy-go-lucky, upbeat, and nice types. So like Kai, Joe, Rock, Luke, etc.

When I play as a boy I like the "girls you can bring home to meet mom" types. Like I married Elli because she's cute, sweet and nurturing, even though I really had my eye on Karen. I also like marrying the overprotected rich girls because of my "RICH GIRL I'M GONNA MAKE YOU EXPERIENCE LIFE ON A FARM HAHA" mindset so I married Lumina (AWL:SE) and I had my eye on Dia. LOL I find that very satisfying.

When I play as a girl I always liked the charming laidback dudes like Kai, Denny and maybe Luke, so I marry some of them. For some weird reason I also get attached to those tough and sometimes rude men so I married Gray and Vaughn since I have this "YOU SAY RUDE THINGS TO ME AND I WANT YOU TO TAKE THAT BACK SO I'M GONNA MARRY YOU" mindset. I also find that very satisfying.

Then sometimes I marry someone out of pity.

Like in AWL Nami leaves the valley if you don't marry her (she does come back after a while) since she's running out of money and I was like "Poor Nami!" so I got my farmer married to her even if I hate her kid since he's so emo. And in SI one of Vaughn's heart line was like "I got no family, I was abandoned when I was little" and I was like "Aww poor guy okay I'll marry you and take care of you T.T" Haha I'm just so weird.

I tend to like hardworking and serious males that are on the shy side? Though Luke isnt shy and serious, he has a lot of hardworking spirit lol.

For girls its really flexible... but out of them all Nami was perfect for me.

Usually, it depends on if they have a rival. If there is a character in the game who doesn't have a rival and isn't ridiculous (like...Kappa), I'm probably going to go for them (Shea, Skye, Wiz) because then all the other people are happy.

Otherwise....

I dunno, I kind of like the quirky characters. Looks do factor into it, but for the most part I prefer the shy and quirky characters. Although now I can't think of any. D: (I've married Cliff, Shea, Skye, Wiz, Lynette (RF1), Mana (RF2), and Sofia (RF3) so...yeah. I need to play more and marry more).

Yeah I hate breaking couples up a majority of the time but at the same time, I don't tend to like "Special"/rivalless characters often. It's hard

I also love to see the towns bustle with new children and it feels strange when one isn't around to be born you know?

When playing as a girl, I always go after the tough yet quiet, introspective guy. Bonus points if they're stricken with a sickness! (IM LOOKING AT YOU MARLIN) I'm a sucker for the tough outside, soft insideness and how MANLY they can get at times lol. ♥

For girls, I like the mythical/rival-less girls! Leia is my favorite, though Keira and H.Goddess are pretty cool.

Reserved and stand-offish for guys (Chihaya, Gray), or shy (Cliff back in the days... lol not as much anymore).

For girls, sweet (like Celia) or outgoing (Ann)... or bubbly (Popuri). Or "special" like Kilala and the Witch. xD

I do, like, it's weird that there's supposed to be a child there but there isn't because I ruined their one chance by breaking up a relationship. Yeah, the "special" ones are sometimes a little too special for me. I really wish they would do it where say, if in AP I married Calvin, Phoebe would then marry Wiz just so their kid would come and they're not lonely, but then why would Phoebe even want to marry Wiz? XD

Thankfully the special characters aren't too bad sometimes, though the MFoMT ones I couldn't do. Won, Gourmet, and Kappa were way outside of my interest, so I just settled for Cliff then accidentally erased the file! Oh I was so mad.

Yeah like, I'm hoping the Wizard would catch my interest a little bit so I can have a town full of children PLUS my own. But...but Luke is so fun(ny) baw. AND LUCY IS MY FAVORITE HM KID. I find AP Gill boring but I might marry him because Van(Even though I don't want to marry Jin) and Vivian are the boring ones out of the lot... I dunno. I had it way easier as a dude and marrying the witch but my file got erased by accident so I decided to be a girl this time.

Aw yeah trying my luck for a gold ore again. I like how i can bump into shinies in pokemon more than usual but i have « Puppy Doodoo » luck with the red bell and woodfish always.

Well, if you don't like the Wizard, then you could always go for the Harvest King, as long as you don't mind practically being a single parent. And if you don't like the HK, you don't have to deal with him much after marriage. Personally, I'm not that crazy about him, but I adore his kids. <3

I don't really have a set type I go for, but in MM I went for Alex and FoMT I married Elli so maybe I like the medics?

But I'm going after the Wizard in AP because I felt guilting about basically dooming some poor person to a life all alone with no one to love them. Maybe it's a bit of an over dramatization...

When I play as a girl I ALWAYS go for the doctor. XD (Doctor Nameless, Doctor Trent, Doctor Alex, Hiro... etcetera CX)

But for girls, most are just random choices.

) There is an exception in SI and IoH though. Since there are no doctor bachelor (s), I went for the main guy who everyone hates for never hating anything. XD

In RF series, the mature girls and kuuderes are mostly my choices or the merchants. :D Also, mature marriageables catch my eye. (Like Ivan from GrB)
