I LOVE the tsunderes! They are usually nice and attractive...but then again I probably only like them because I can relate to them (I'm kind of a tsundere.)

I always like the "special" bachelor(ettes), especially if they are magical. So ones like Witch Princess, Lia, Kaguya, Sage, etc. There aren't many magical guys other than Wizard. Although in the last two games I don't really like the special guys (but I don't know much about Michael, admittedly).

Personality wise I like the bubbly, cheerful types for both genders. Characters like (some renditions of) Popuri, Lia, Shea, Sage, etc. They can be annoying, but I've found the game often gives them interesting backstories once you woo them enough (especially if you count in the spin off Rune Factory games), and sometimes even rather tragic ones. I suppose it's the contrast that I like: finding out a happy person hides a dark secret instead of a cold/angry person hiding a heart of gold. Just seems like a nice switch to me.

I'm the secluded, Vaughn, Gray, Mikhail, Nami type of person.... Usually. In GrB I went with Ivan and in ToTT it'll most likely be Ash.... or Hiro, as I am getting converted into his fanbase. So, yup.

When I'm playing with girl I mostly look for guys with a ponytail (I don't know why I like them so badly XD ), on attitude I don't have something so specific, sometimes I choose shy ones (like Cliff) and sometimes tsunderes.
When I'm playing as a guy I prefer bachelorettes who are not too childish (like Popuri, she's too childish). I prefer the kind ones (like Elli).

I just go with whoever I like, which is usually whoever's pretty... it's shallow, I know, but once I start courting them I fall head over heels for them.

When I'm playing as a girl, I usually marry a kind of polite but introvert guy (yeah, like Vaughn, and Lloyd). Don't know why I like that kind of guy. Maybe they seems mysterious for me and I like mysteries...
When I play as a boy, I often marry a shy but sweet girl. Girls like Candace, Sabrina and Mary usually be my first choice. Maybe a little odd, but I really like them

I think I like the scholarly types for both girls and dudes- doctors and glasses nerds- but more than that, I'm kind of a fan of anything with black hair. (silver comes second.)

I usually marry the guy I find the kindest or with the cutest personality. I think I tend to marry doctors. I married Trent in MFoMT and I'm wooing Alex in MM. I also like polite characters, like Ivan in GB. I don't play as a guy very often.
In the RF games I'm most attracted by the main heroine, in RF2 I decided soon I would marry Mana. But in RF3 I wanted to marry Shara at first, but I changed my mind and went for Raven. Maybe because she is mysterious.

I marry whoever tickles me fancy.
Simple as that.

so far, i've went with candace (ap) eve (mm) lyla (mm) karen (btn) and MAYBE ann (btn)

so usualy the shy, attractive, or loving types. i NEVER go for ones like nina (mm) candace's sister (ap, don't remember her name) popuri (btn... sorry OP) and TBH, i'm not a fan of the ones with aprons.

for the girls i usually go for the more lady-like ones: Eve and Dia (MM), Lumina (DS) and Anissa (AP)
for the boys i tend to go for ones with bandannas/hats alot for some reason: Basil, Joe, and Dan (MM), Kai (DS), and Luke(AP)

When playing as a girl I've married, Owen (ToTx2) Chase (AP) Alex (MM) Marlin (AnWL) Skye (DSC) and Rick (MFOMT)
So I guess I don't really have a type of men.

I do on the other hand seem to have a type when I play as a boy, which is weird considering I'm a girl, as I've only every married the confident/beautiful type of woman, like Selena (ToT) Luna (ToT) and Eve (MM)

Usually I just go for whoever has a personality I like, so I guess I'm sort of all over the place when it comes to boys. I never go for muscleheads like Bob and Owen though. xD

When it comes to girls, however, I tend to pick the ones I think are cute. Oh oh, or pink-haired girls. I instantly go for them, as I find pink hair adorable. <33

I never play as a girl but the ones that peak my intrest, would be people like Skye, Carl, and Julius. The guys that make me laugh or seem cool. Idk why I like Julius he's just awesome to me When I play as a guy I like people like NAtalie (only if she was pretty) Lily sherry Renee Ellen Eve Candace etc. Ya the Mysterious, Romantic, Shy, or Farmer girls.
