Yes, you can pick your gender. And you can get a boyfriend or girlfriend depending on what gender you play as. But they aren't party members. They are just people that live in the town and such.

I think it might have something to do with the popularity of gold eyes. Gold is a much richer color, and I think that's why some prefer it to yellow or orange eyes. I would think more people would notice this and try to break the trend, but oh well. Gold is a lovely color, so I don't mind. :3

So I finally decided to do something that had to so with this idea. It is a short event with Mayor.

Mayor's First Event:
Dolly accepts a request to go to Mayor's house.
Mayor: Hello Dolly, can I help you?
Dolly: No, I'm here to help you.
Mayor: Hmm?
Dolly: I got an anonymous request to come here.
Mayor: Oh wonderful.
Dolly: So what do you need help with?
Mayor: I don't really need help. I just thought I could show you around town.
Dolly: Oh...
Mayor: You seem disappointed.
Dolly: N-no. I'm fine really. Let's go (*sigh* he's trying to get me to spend time with these people again).
Mayor: Alright then.
*Dolly and Mayor walk through the town*
Mayor: I have a question for you Dolly.
Dolly: What is it?
Mayor: If you were walking around on a sunny say how much light would you need to make it brighter?
Dolly: Huh? You'd need a blinding light make it brighter if it was sunny out.
Mayor: I see. Well what if you were in a house with many candles. How much light would it take then?
Dolly: Um less then the sunny day but you'd still need a lot.
Mayor: Okay. So one last thing. What if you were in complete darkness?
Dolly: If you were in darkness then any light would brighten it up.
Mayor: Exactly. In the world there are people like Jem. She is like a sunny day. It would take a grand gesture to make her even brighter then she already is. Then there are people like me. I am used to kindness but if someone like you comes along it brightens my day. Unfortunately most people in town are like the third scenario. Their lives are so dark, even the littlest show of kindness will brighten up their life.
Dolly: O-oh.
Mayor: I don't want to make you feel bad. But I just want you to know that even if people make it hard to be nice to it has a bigger affect on them then you realize.
Dolly: Okay Mayor. I'll try to be nicer to them.
Mayor: Well that is enough lecturing from me. I know this is the last thing you want to me to talk about. But thank you for humoring me. I'm sure you already knew what I was going to talk about.
Dolly: Eheh kind of.
Mayor: Good day then. I'll be head back to house now.

I have decided with your idea I'll make everything shorter so people don't have to read so much or feel bad about not reading everything. I don't want anyone to feel like they have to read all that stuffs. I had fun making this so I wrote a lot. But I really don't care if people don't read all that. You can just read whatever/however much you want to.
Oh yeah Cards/Imagine and Cotton/Half are tied for first. That's awesome ^^. Take that Twinkle/Sparrow >:D.
Which one is Sparkle ^^;? I'm sorry I only got like three hours of sleep so I can't remember who most of these characters are right now .

I'll be fine if you never read it it all Pinkie. It's not that important. Plus I'll always come up with new ideas. So don't get burned out reading this one XD.
Oh yeah I added that to the front ^^. Umm I think she'll have semi long blond hair and I guess yellow green eyes. But anything you do would be fine with me .
It was a lot of things. Staying up late, having to get up early, sleeping on the floor, my mom kept coming in the room while I was trying to sleep, having allergies. So I didn't sleep very well. But I don't really have anything I need to do today so I'll be fine.

Well the character bios won't be much shorter, just the plot X3. I'll only do a basic plot and not a full plot. I might later on post some of the important parts of the plot (like skip to the end) but not an entire thing.
That's good to hear. I have to force myself to do anything like that. I guess it's not my forte. But I don't mind.
Thanks for believing in me Pinkie :'). I hate when I forget things I was too lazy to write up. There is a lot of characters to do cause this time there are bachelors and bachelorettes :0. I never thought I'd see the day when I'd make a game idea that wasn't female only XD.

This topic is almost one month old hooray :D. Hmm how long should I wait before making a new idea topic? I waited two months last time so probably a month and a half/two months this time.

That's great. I have no idea what he (they XD) should look like so I'm glad you do.
And it's okay Princess. If you would like to try then feel free to. But don't force yourself. This is a really bad game idea to make events for. I mean the characters are all crazy, the events are done in request form so you have to come up with some reason for why they made the request in the first place, the first few events are super boring to do since they barely know the MC, the last events are better but in order to make then you have to read all their back story and junk. So yeah not a very good set up XD.
Anyway, Googsie's right, you most certainly deserve to have an idea dedicated to you, Starlight. ;D
