Rune Factory Tides of Destiny: Favorite bachelorette?

I heard that how relationships worked in this game, was slightly different, so would that be part of it?

But, that won't exactly help, when wooing her as a guy. xD

Mikoto was my favorite by far, she would have easily been my favorite Rune Factory character. Like, finally a bachelorette that falls into that small niche of girls I really really like. So perfect. Then it turned out Marvelous was trolling me and I felt pretty betrayed :[ seriously « What The Eggplant » Marv, Mikoto was perfectly feminine enough and fine as she was. She could have opened up without having to be like "I need to be more like a girl!" More like a what? Grr.

As much as I was secretly shipping Mikoto x Sonia, Mikoto x Azel would have been fine if she were the stronger one in that relationship. I hate it when they have to 'fix' these girls entering a relationship by making the coolness all a front that melts away at a love confession. Damnit Japan, some people (a considerable number actually) have a legit fetish for cool girls and submissive boys pairings, why couldn't you have catered to us!? I mean, geez, isn't that what games like Rune Factory are for in the first place?! haha

It's silly to make a big deal about it now, but it's just one of... those things... that really has less to do with the fandom and more regarding my personal beliefs that I'm sensitive about. meh. I think some others felt the same way though I can't speak for them whether it was personal or not.

But yeah now I have no idea which bachelorette is my favorite, I never paid attention to any of the others because of Mikoto...

But as I mentioned that scene can only be activated if you choose to play as Azel. If your Sonia, she will go on forever presenting herself as a guy. A guy Sonia cannot marry.

cuts her hair because my favorite artist finally released some music with a video of her cutting her hair and her hair ending up very similar to Mikoto's

but we'll see... I'll have to like her personality, too, so I'm not sure of that happening. Haha. idk.

But at the very least do we get anything similar to Azel and Mikoto's event with Sonia and Mikoto, like does she admit she's a girl or tells Sonia something about herself like some secret from her past?.?

Well, it's not so much as her personality that bugs me.. If she was like that from the start, it wouldn't have bugged me.
It was the fact that they made it so she changed to meet "feminie standards" that bugged me..
And the fact that it was kind of a yank on the chain, from what I was expecting.

I just feel like Mikoto was perfectly fine the way she was. :c
I don't mind her feeling like she needs to change, if it were over some sort of flaw or problem she had, but this seems like it was just to act more like an idealized female, or something.
I guess, I could be wrong about this, and that's not exactly how it happens, to which I will be pleasently surprised, but from my understanding of the events, it's quite dissapointing..
/and I'm not usually easily dissapointed

Well, her changing is still a problem, because I wanted to play as a guy and woo her.

Again, I'll just have to see how things are in the game, and maybe they won't be as bad as I had imagined..

I guess why they just bluntly annouced it was so that Azel players would actually pursue her as a love interest. While Sonia players would avoid the issue of romancing her, only to get pissed off when they realized she wasn't a man. Or in this case simply note that her affection wouldn't go any higher.

I think it's funny that in-game people don't know but I am glad that I know her gender for sure. Otherwise it'd be kinda weird XD.

I see your point and i understand now, her look before actually appeals to me more then her newer one after and i'll admit that i was fairly disappointed on how much she had changed on the outside (is a big swordsman/samurai fan) BUT i try to brush that aside and Love her even after her appearance changes ...NOW IT'S STARTING TO BOTHER ME AGAIN...i want my Pretty Samurai Girl to stay looking like a Samurai

Mikoto's change is kinda like Eunice's. It only makes her more of a loveable character. But she should have kept her pretty hair, it's such a waste.
