When I go the library in my house to look at my progress wooing Amir, it shows that he has one heart. but it's not red, it's orange. what does this mean? That his invisible heart is purple now? Because I really want to see the next event. I spent so much time being nice to ethel and stuart and daisy >___<
Because I don't want to woo him more and miss the purple heart event then have to backtrack... Should I stop now and try to trigger it?

You just need the certain heart or higher to see heart events in GrB. Just keep giving him gifts and talking to him, and the events will happen when they happen; you can't miss one because Amir likes you too much.

It sucks that I can't see the color of his heart, so I have to guess what friendship level he's at. I'm just gonna wait until he's at two hearts, then do the purple event. he'll have more than enough points for it. also, that's not true. If I never trigger any events, but still raise his heart to red, I can't marry him. You have to see the events in order >_>

No, no, I'm saying... for example, if Amir, or anyone for that matter, had a red heart, you could still see his/her black, purple, blue, and yellow heart event. It's just, you can't see the blue before you are at least at blue.
EDIT: And, yes, you do need to see them in order.

Yeah, GrB is made pretty fool-proof, like all the newer HM, since HM:DS? I can't remember when they added this feature. Anyway, I just have one piece of advice, don't just go after Amir and don't marry whoever you're going to marry right away, since it will get boring.

I always keep them at a red heart for a while, then propose after I meet my financial goals. I always plan the proposal just right because I like having Winter children ^__^

If they have one heart according to your assets, that means their FP are higher than 6552 but less than 13105. To be sure that he is at a purple heart, you would have to raise him all the way 'till he has 2 hearts in your assets.

You just need to know the exact day and timing to trigger those heart events you can actually trigger all heart events even if the bachelor is on a red heart and you can marry him as long as you know the dates and times to trigger each respective heart event.
