Why Is Ivan's Heart Level Going Down?

I ended up marrying Ivan in the game, but for some reason, he keeps on dropping down to nine hearts. Even though I talk to him ever day... I don't exactly mind the fact that I have to give him gifts all the time to keep it up, I was just wondering why this was happening...

Have you been dropping things into the river? That lowers FP with everybody. Or have some of your animals died of disease?

I haven't been doing that, nor have I ever had an animal die. Plus, only his are going down...

it could possibly be one of HM nortorious game glitches don't worry too much about it just keep giving him gifts.
