I read almost the enitre website on HM:GB, but only found one vauge mention of a skateboard, there is also a sign in the game, and Dirk mentions it, but how do you get one? And what does it do??? Please help!

it does the same thing as the snowboard you can buy it at the bazaar after Felix gives you the snowboard

You get a snowboard from Felix in Winter. You can use it to skate down that long path at the Hotel Area. There's a competition every Winter, and after you have the snowboard, you can buy the skateboard to do the same thing from the bazaar

Oh... So is there any actual purpose to skating/boarding down the ramp?

Sorry I have another question, it (The website) Says that the flowing furniture stand is available from the begining, I'm at 25%, but I have never seen it! Where is it and what specifically do you buy from it?

The furniture stand is across from the builders I think? Also they only sell big beds once you upgrade your house methinks...

The snowboard/skateboard are only for fun and festivals methinks. They only go if you've got downhill momentum so you can't really use them as an alternate to walking :/

In Grand Bazzar you can't upgrade your house.

Yeah, there's only the one snowboarding festival that it's used for. The skateboard I guess is so that you can practice the snowboarding contest when it's not winter, so there's no real need for it. I buy it anyway, though, to free up a slot in Felix's stall.

Sorry, but I have another question... What is the grass seed trick? I have heard about it, but what is it?

The "grass seed trick" is to buy 60 fertilizer and 60 fodder and create grass seeds in the grinding windmill. It costs around 4500g (a rough estimate) and the profit is way worth it, since you can sell a bag for over 500g at the bazaar. Repeat as necessary.
