Bazaar Goal Question

Okay, heres my question. When you are trying to reach the bazaar goal, do you have to get that amount of money in one bazaar, or is it a total of all the money you've made in every bazaar up to that point?

Total of all the money you've made in every bazaar up until that point. Otherwise it would be near impossible.

It is NOT near impossible, since I have made the bazaar goal every week except for one bad week in the fall. I'm not sure what your selling methods are, but I'm sure that plenty of people have been able to satisfy the bazaar goal on a weekly basis instead of on an accumulative one. Am I wrong on this assumption?

Nonono not the WEEKLY profit goal. I almost always get that one. I mean upgrading your bazaar in one go. Like... eventually Felix's goal of total money earned becomes like over a million gold to expand the bazaar. You can't do that in one bazaar. I mean you can but it would require you to save up like jewelry and stuff for a long time and then sell them all in one go because you only have so much time to sell everything.

WHAT?! That CAN'T be true. Because my current goal is 40000-50000 and I KNOW that I've made way more than that in all the bazaars I've done so far.
You need to make that amount of money on ONE bazaar day to meet the goal and upgrade the bazaar. Otherwise, I would've passed the 40K goal by now.

Its the money that you make in one bazaar day. Thats why this game is starting to get annoying for me.

The goal to expand the bazaar to the next level is NOT the weekly goal. It's higher than that... obviously.

For the love of « Harvest Goddess » people.
Ushi wrote:As you make more money at the bazaar, you will increase its size, the number of shops that appear, and its popularity. During the bazaar results, Felix will give you a hint on how far you are to reaching the next bazaar level. The goal of Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar is to reach 100% bazaar expansion! The larger the bazaar, the more money Felix will expect you to earn, and the harder it will be to win a prize at the weekly bazaar results.
* Starting out (0%) - 0 G earned. Profit goal is 15,000 to 20,000 G
* Best Bazaar in the region (25%) - 40,000 total G earned. Profit goal is 40,000 to 50,000 G
* Best Bazaar in the country (50%) - 450,000 total G earned. Profit goal is 80,000 to 100,000 G
* Best Bazaar on the continent (75%) - 1,500,000 total G earned. Profit goal is 150,000 to 200,000 G
* Best Bazaar in the world (100%) - 5,000,000 total G earned. Profit goal is 500,000 to 600,000 G
Once you reach bazaar level 100%, the profit goal is just for earning the prizes from Felix during the weekly results.
The expansion of the bazaar is based on your total overall profits and not the fact that you happen to of met the weekly goal. Once you have earned enough total money, the bazaar will expand.
Directly from the site. Case closed. *bangs gavel*

I don't think it has to be. The goals are just for prizes, I think.

Right. If you want to try and get the prizes that Felix gives out the day after a bazaar, then you have to meet or at least get close to the weekly goal. But if you don't meet that goal, all that means is you don't get the prize; there is no penalty, and the amount that you earned still goes into your "total G earned so far" amount towards upgrading the bazaar.
Example:
1st Bazaar, you're just starting out. The weekly goal is 15,000-20,000G, but you only make 11,000G. You probably don't win any profit prize from Felix for that week unless you're really lucky and get 3rd place. Total G earned so far: 11,000G.
2nd Bazaar, you had some good luck river-diving or something. The weekly goal is still 15,000-20,000G, but with that good luck, you managed to make 30,000G this bazaar. You totally killed the weekly goal, so you win the first-place profit prize from Felix. Total G earned so far is now 41,000G, which means your bazaar gets upgraded too. Huzzah!
3rd Bazaar, now the weekly goal is 40,000-50,000G, but you sold all your good stuff last week, so you only made 20,000G. Darn, no profit prize from Felix. Total G earned now is 61,000G.
Etc.
Notice I mention profit prize from Felix. Every week there's also a "customer satisfaction" prize which you can possibly win even if you don't make the profit goal, just by answering those random questions from your customers correctly. ^_^ That one just depends on luck with how many questions you get and which ones (and if you know the right answers of course).
