Requesting Username Change Questions

I was wondering, what are the acceptable reasons for requesting that a username could be changed?

I know that reasons like "because I don't like this username anymore" are not accepted, and totally understand that.

I ask, because someone has been trying to hack my account, I know I know the person that is trying to. I keep asking them not to, but they won't listen to me. So, I thought, that maybe if my username was different, and didn't tell them that it was changed, that would make them leave me alone. I don't want to have to start a whole new account, because then I would have to make a new email just for the account, and then I would lose all the private messages I have in this account.

That MIGHT qualify as an acceptable reason for a username change. The thing to do is to make a request to Cher and explain your situation to her.
