"Currently Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny Wii & PS3 are in production. They will not be available at retail on the 27th of September, however they will arrive October 11th. Unfortunately this is the busy time of year when a lot of companies are producing titles; we have to wait our turn."
Nuuuuuu it's not coming out in september.
Wow, they actual gave an understandable reason.
They want to make sure players don't have to choose between their game and others.
That actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
i just saw the post on facebook. i actually dont mind that it got pushed back a couple weeks. im glad natsume was honest...besides itll give me more time to play ToTT ^^
And actually, that works better. I'm always broke and I need to pre-order something else soon so I guess that works. I might get ToD later though, because I won't have much money for awhile. XD
Well I'm glad they finally said something. But I am not really satisfied with their reason.
I mean seriously do they really think waiting two weeks will help all that much? It's not like the people buying other games will be done with them that soon. Plus that's not a lot of time to earn more money. It will most likely still work in their favor, but I doubt it will be by a very big amount. If someone is not gonna get the game I highly doubt they'll get it now just cause the release date was pushed back two weeks. At least that's how I feel about it >:/.
I can understand their reasoning, but... adding on to what Googa said, most of the players of ToTT would probably not be done by then, and rather, more sucked in. "Who needs RFToD? I've got my ToTT!" That might not happen with many people, but it's a possibility.
Being optimistic, 2 weeks is better than a month! :D
At least RF and HM are different series. They did the same thing with SI and AP. They came out either a few days apart or the very same day. Having to buy two HMs at the same time, what were they thinking? Although I pre-ordered them both anyways so what do I know XD?
I guess I'll have plenty of time to finish this RFF file I've been meaning to complete :T.
Well for me, I couuuuld take advantage of that. I have a brother so he will be hogging the ps3 most of the time, so if I had ToTT then I could play both.

And to be honest there are dozens of popular titles that are going to be released over the next three months so delaying it further just means it will have to compelete with them, even if it isn't around the same period of time that they are released.
Bleh, two more weeks, is still two more weeks than I'd like. Oh well. At least one of those weeks I won't even be at my house, so it shouldn't be too bad.
Exactly. If they push it back they may avoid some games but there are still plenty more that are coming out. But oh well at least they didn't push it back until December or something.
Well if they pushed it back to November or December, when the game is basically (or completely) already finished, then it would just kinda piss the fans off imo. Well, two weeks isn't too bad, but I was still looking forward to getting it this tuesday.
Yeah that why I was confused why they were delaying it. Because I remember reading somewhere that the game was in Gold version(finished product).
While I understand the reason why they are waiting. I still think it was a poor decision on their part.
Both in regard to their fans and as bussiness decision.
