Well at least we can enjoy the scans of the artbook pages in the fan club.
I just prefer something more tangible.
But I guess since Neverland gets a cut of the ToD sales in the US, and that RF still is a niche popularity game, Natsume doesn't think they could afford to produce the kind of bonuses that Neverland did.
Maybe Natsume can do their own little bonuses. Like plushie forms of the characters. That'd be cute! I just wish I had a reason to pre order it rather than getting it early :/ All pre-ordering does for me is make the wait even more real than before...
Well at least it makes sure you get a copy.
Most stores don't usually carry many copies beyond what is preordered.
And RF doesn't stay in print for long.
Though Natsume said they were trying to expand their target market for ToD.
So maybe that won't be as big a problem this time around.
I preordered RF TOD a month before it was originally scheduled to be released (9/27) on Amazon. Right before they changed the release date, I get an e-mail from Amazon saying it's changed to October 31st. Two days later the official release date comes out as October 11th. Confused, I go back to Amazon and find that the listing for the US version is GONE. And my preorder is GONE. Amazon only has the Japanese import listed now. WHAT HAPPENED?!
Can I still preorder from Amazon or should I just buy from EB games? I really want to preorder to ensure I get it...
Well Aden has a tsundere personality in the Japanese version, so I'm hoping Natsume didn't alter any personalities when they translated it. I would be very dissapointed it they did, as that is not localizing the game.
Natsume shouldn't bend things. :/
I can understand if they're making it more kid-friendly, but if they're changing someone's personality, that's just plain rude.
As for the voices, *shrug* I just don't want them to be too annoying, or seem as if they're read blankly, with no emotion...
