So, how about we post here some werid things you didn't expect to happen?
Like what happened to me:
3rd of Spring. Looking around for things to ship. I went around the bamboo place right after exiting Konohana and voilá, I got a Red Wonderful! I SURE didn't expect that to happen... >_>
I mean, it was too soon. Just third of Spring... What the heck? XD

Well thats lucky. I haven't gotten anything cool yet.

I would like to find something rare too. Maybe a fish fossil?

A similar thing happened to me, except it was a Blue Wonderful. I found it one day when I was bare-handed fishing near Konohana. I can't remember what day it was, but it was fairly early in Spring, since I am only on the 10th day right now.

I also found some silver in one of the foraging spots, which I was able to sell for 4,500G. I believe it was the spot behind the waterfall near Konohana, so I make sure to check that spot every day now. Haven't found any silver since then, though.

Yeah, I also found the Blue Wonderful at the same place early in the game. I was really surprised and wondering what the heck is that since I have not read the guide about Wonderfuls yet so I don't know it exist in the game like GrB.

The spot in the waterfall is my source of income now, I always make sure I get ore stone and break them to sell ores worth +5000g.

I found the red wonderful there as well. I think it took me a little longer--like mid-spring maybe. Also, I find ore stones off and on in the crack behind the waterfall. You're quite lucky to find something to sell for so much. I always find copper that sells for 700.

I have found three wonderfuls and 5 ore stones. Haven't broken any ore stones yet.

I didn't find any wonderfuls until summer - then I found the red & orange wonderfuls in a typhoon literally 2~3 minutes apart.

Mind, I didn't notice you could go through to the second section of the bamboo (to where you get all the items) until Summer 1. >.>

I also found my first ore stone too. Heck, it costed me so much to get them in the Japanses version because I didn't know I'd need them to get the bed, so I started to look for them late and almost gave me a headache...

I find only copper and junk ore/scrap metal too >_>

I encountered THREE WONDERFULLS! And ALL were unespected e-e" I found the Red Wonderful in the First of Spring, the Orange Wonderful in 10 of Summer and the Yellow Wonderful at 23 of Fall. I'm going to try finding the Blue Wonderful e-e"
Also, i found a King "Fish" with the bare hand fishing tecnic o-o But it wasn't a fish, it was a turtle -w

I was also surprised on two occasions:

I wasn't finding Hiro, so I went to his bedroom... And when I saw that skeleton I thought it was him
And when I caught a large killifish. I looked at the size and... 5 cm

I found FOUR fish fossils the first day I got my fishing rod. It was at the Konohana side fishing spot south of the bridge. That was an amazing chunk of money I got for 4000G a pop.

I got it, and it's strange, because even though it's more rare than the fish fossil, it's only worth 2.000 G.

I found 2 wonderfuls and 3 fish fossils in a row. That was a nice surprise. xD
