just came to me, i was thinking about the tree lol
thats what i names mine. XD i was thinking along the whole plant name theme and its all i could come up with. XD
Oh gosh I named it Maple too. x3
I usually go with Maple when I can't think of anything else. Or in this case, because the six character limit ruined my original plan. I wanted to name it Snowdrop. -w-
For some reason I've been naming my farm the same name since my first HM game which happened to be DS: Cute. I always call it Konno farm/ranch. For TToTT I decided to call my Bluebell farm Konna because It seemed more Bluebell-ish.
I would have named it "Dragonfly" but went with "Dusk" instead (living in Bluebell) because "Dragonfly" is too long. If you get to name the other farm as well, I'll probably go with "Dawn" for that one.
I named my Konohana file farm Midori. It's simple, Japanese, fits with the whole crop theme, and it sounds good. It's also one I tend to use a lot, for whatever reason.
On my Bluebell file, my farm is named Abelia, which is the genius name for a type of plant in the same family as Honeysuckle. It's technically an Asian variety (also found in some parts of Mexico), so it probably would have been more fitting in Konohana... but it sounded right for Bluebell, and it seemed appropriate for the whole... building bridges/reconnecting the two towns things to name it in the fashion of Bluebell, but after a flower native to Japan. Besides, honeysuckles are pretty much my favourite flower, and that wouldn't even come close to fitting. ^^;
I remember I always used to call my farms/ranches Snow or Snowy, but that was when I used the names Midori/Miki. Now I use Yuki, and it would be strange calling the farm "Snow" when my name means snow. So I called my farm "Dawn Farm". Not exactly the best name, but it works. I sometimes call them "Leafy Farm".

Ah~ "Green", quite fitting. It's also a name, and one I used to use permanently as my characters name. Nice to see some Jap! *cough*Iamaweeaboo*cough*
I always name my farm Viera. My mom loved it because in spanish (my native language) "Viera Farm" sounds like saying "the great Javiera"*, even though it was completely unintentional. Sometimes I forget about how stuff sounds in spanish. >_>
*[granja viera (viera farm) -> gran javiera (great javiera)]
