Ok so I bought my third and fourth chicken in a pair. Several days later my third chicken had become an adult but my fourth had not. I waited a while and still nothing. I bought another chick and a full grown chicken and then I had two chicks who would not become adults! I sold them for adult chickens but is anyone else having this problem?

yea im haveing the same problem to, my 4th and 5th chicken wont get any hearts at all, and i had them for awhile and one of them is a chick and it wont grow into adult hood, so i think its some kindof glitch with the chickens in this game =/

definitely sounds like a glitch. if it is i'm pretty sure the only thing you can do is buy one animal at a time.

i did buy them 1 at a time, and it still happen, i brought the 4th one in fall and the 5th one in winter and its still the same, the chicken i brought in fall, wont get any hearts, nor eat, but it doesnt get stressed out though, and the chick i brought in winter, has no hearts, and it wont grow into adult hood

well the opening poster said that she bought hers in a pair so when you said you were having the same problem i assumed that you did as well.

if you bought them separately its still a glitch (or sounds like one) its just with the fourth and fifth chickens rather then with when you buy them.

How long does it take a chick to become a chicken?

About one week, I think.

i only have 2 chickens, that i bought at the same time, both grew up on the same day. so ill see laterrrr, about to buy more chickens~

yeah but the request will come up again. ^_^

if i were you i would sell the two that wont grow up and try again.

is there an incubator in this game? i havent seen it is. if there is maybe try hatching an egg and seeing if that gets around the glitch.

if you buy the 4th or 5th chick or chicken separately or on the same day it still wont get any hearts, and if its a chick it wont grow into adult hood trust, and i dont know if this will happen with the other chickens, but my 1st, 2nd and 3rd chicken get hearts and grew from chick to adult hood

there is no incubator in the game....
you give an adult chicken to jessica for 2 weeks, then itll come back with a chick, and i've did that with my chicken and it still didnt work,
its a glitch doesnt seem like away around it

ah...yeah thats the only way i could think to get around it.

have either of you upgraded your coop? maybe that would change something.
