Hiro creeps me out

Harvest Moon can definitely have some childish art (GrB for example), which in turn makes all the characters look like ten year olds ... but in ToTT we can clearly see that Cam and Kana are drawn in a much more mature way. So when I see Hiro in the same game, being marriageable as well, it just creeps me out. He seriously looks like an 8 year old compared to Cam and Kana. I feel like a pedophile, really.

Now, maybe if he looked like this instead:

Then I'd have no problems courting him. Otherwise it's just creepy. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Meh, it's not an uncommon look for guys in Japanese games. There are 16~18 year old guys in the Tokimemo Girl's Side series that look much younger, for example.

I'm not into the shota archetype, but you're not a pedophile at all if you go for him, lol

oh i loove howard. I wish I could marry him <33 He could make my house all dainty and feed me sweets

on the side note, Hiro does look childish but some people like the innocent type

Iunno, for me he just seems like a guy with a baby face? Ash has a baby face, too, and nobody's flipping tables over it, I don't see why Hiro gets so much controversy (?). You do have a boy who's meant to be much younger - Rahi - in the game, and Hiro does look older than him.

Well to me, Hiro looks like he's a kid dressing up as a doctor for Halloween.

Ash looks like an actual rancher, especially since his face is less childish than Hiro's, and he's got a bigger build.

If it weren't for Hiro's height, he would look just like Rahi. His face is basically the same, and that's what creeps me out.

Well, considering the art style of the game, all of the bachelor/ettes look young... As does both genders of the MC... Yeah, Hiro looks especially young, but I can't say much for anyone else... Okay, well maybe except for Mikhail...

Yeah I agree with those disturbed by Hiro's appearance. The other bachelors are much older and look marriageable. I don't like the young one. He looks like he is like, two years older than the little kids in the game. I don't like it. I do like howard though. He makes me giggle.

Ash has something about him that just doesn't make him look as much of a child. But I love Ash either way.

Hiro and Pierre in past games just look way to young, I think they do that to some characters because some people want to get an innocent looking bachelor/bachelorette. And I remember seeing something about someone wanting to take Hiro's virginity since he looks so innocent.

No he doesn't... Besides the adults in the game you can't marry and Mikhail (And maybe Kana...) no bachelor/ette looks like they've hit puberty... But that's just how this game is... Plus, with all this talk about Hiro, I'm surprised Alisa isn't getting any controversy... Nor any other bachelorette... The oldest looking bachelorette seems like Reina to me, and even she looks like a pre-teen...

Nori looks pretty mature to me, and Alisa eh I don't really care when it comes to girls, because it's so adorable when they have cute little kid faces.
