Well, he looks pretty young, but I think the guy's pretty mature and humble for his age.

And I'm finding myself actually relating to him a bit, which is cool.

And he's a refreshing take on the doctor bachelor. They shouldn't all be tall, dark and Asian stiffs, you know? Sure, Hiro's clearly still Asian, but that's beside the point.

What legal what? XD You have to be a certain age to cosplay? O: Yes he clearly is still asian, and to me some of the Harvest Moon characters in other games don't even look asian, I wouldn't know if they weren't basically anime typed drawings.

You know, it's odd. I've never been a big fan of the young/innocent type before. But Hiro's tied for my favorite bachelor in this game, and that's just with my limited knowledge of the game. To me, he looks around 16, which might be a bit young, but people did used to get married at that age. And as mentioned, it's part of the art-style. Though kid-like guys in the past games were much worse off, I must say. This new art-style probably adds a few years to his age in comparison. xD

Anyway, I love him for his mature and caring personality, though he still has a spark of his inner kid in him. I think it's great to have a doctor that's interested in more than just health. So, I disagree. I'm interested in Hiro despite his appearance and don't really find him creepy at all.
To be honest, that second pic creeps me out. It's just too...unlike Hiro. x3;

Yuki is also the name of a male in Fruits Basket, a Manga and Anime. Really, this is why I ask people to know and call be as "Chicken" instead of "Yuki". I get the impression people would just call me "Snow" if I went by "Chicken Snow" instead...

I wanna add (woah, this thread exploded) that before actually playing the game, Hiro seemed way more childish to me. Having actually talked to him, I find him totally endearing and the way he's all determined about his goal makes him seem much more mature, hence balancing out the baby-face design. If he was just another farmer and was all WAHHH CHICKEN ARE SO CUTE <3!11! I'd definitely have a different opinion of him.

Well then, I suppose if I found a photo of the cosplay and showed it, you might have found yourself thinking: "Why does this girl facial hair?"

(I REALLY should have shaved for the convention to fulfill the cosplay in earnest... )
