...To be honest, I think it's silly she can marry you without giving her position up in the first place. :/ It feels like such a cop-out.The Flying Squid wrote:I think that the whole thing is quite stupid. I mean really /: if you love her, then it shouldn't matter if you have a child or not. If you do want a child, marry someone else who hasn't made vows to the Harvest Goddessdur.
Alisa the terrible!

I wouldn't really have an issue with her not wanting spawn, if I married her in-game. I'll be busy enough with my two female MC files, though, and I don't want to go through her long list of requirements.
I like the little pixel kiddies they have in the HM series, but I'm pretty sure there'll be enough to keep my MC and their spouse busy without kidlings in the mix.

yeah i find it kinda odd that she would even consider since in the last game she told you no. I mean why would she suddenly change her views :/ she should just stay holy and untouched :D she can just be your best female friend ^W^kaitouX wrote:...To be honest, I think it's silly she can marry you without giving her position up in the first place. :/ It feels like such a cop-out.The Flying Squid wrote:I think that the whole thing is quite stupid. Exactly! I think that her choosing her faith over love was one of the most character-defining moments in the last game. The fact that she can get married here at all, with HG's permission or not, just ruins the entire impact of her decision and that just cheapens her as a character. :/The Flying Squid wrote:yeah i find it kinda odd that she would even consider since in the last game she told you no. Yeah I found her declining you propsal because of her faith as a test of her character and made her all that more special.kaitouX wrote:Exactly! Yes, exactly! I'm glad for all the Alisa-lovers that wanted to marry her so much, but personally, I am dissapointed. u.uThe Flying Squid wrote:Yeah I found her declining you propsal because of her faith as a test of her character and made her all that more special.it's like...by allowing you to marry her..makes her not her anymore /:

....d-did you just call Howard ugly? The Flying Squid wrote:Me tooand the fact that they tend to recycle characters and some of the games have these stereotypes. Like in SI Gannon has a cute daughter even though he fugly and in TOTT Howard has his cute daughter. There are always older ladies like Felicia with a family but no husband. Like wth /: everyone is like a single parent XD who ate all their spouses?
>:C
...hahaha, joking. ;p I think they've actually broke some character stereotypes in this game. We've got so many awesome ladies this time - a doctor, a carpenter and even a mayor! And of course there's Howard, who's... well... He's just Howard and let's leave it at that.
But yeah, the single parent extravaganza is really bothering me. It's nice to see one or two in the game, but this time there's like, no complete family at all! What the hell. D: it's probably the bears. The mountain's infested with them.
I don't want to start my spat with Kaitou about Alisa being marriageable now and all the hoops you have to jump through.
But who ever said it's sexless? Just cause you can't have a child doesn't mean there's no « Chicken Hugging ». I don't think the game specifically tells you why you can't have children with her, I also think Cher has celibacy as the reason on the guide because there had to be some reason
I just think she's infertileThat way my dirty mind can't be ruined

Well thanks for the lovely thought of bears eating people o_o and yeah my sister is really annoyed with the single parents lol! They're are just so many of them in all the HM games /: and my sister likes howard lol! he's unique we just wish he would change his hair /: he would be fierce, if he would just do something with that hairdo and i like how they expanded the roles for women :D I LOVE the carpenter. I can't wait to play TOTT. just waiting till i finish SI XD hehekaitouX wrote:....d-did you just call Howard ugly? The Flying Squid wrote:Me tooand the fact that they tend to recycle characters and some of the games have these stereotypes.
