RF3 Marriage Regrets? (spoilers)

After playing RF3 a few times (do not know if I will go back to it or not) I find that I have one regret as far as who I did not marry. Note I had gotten each girl to at least 8 hearts in my saves.

When I started RF3 I was going for Ion. Cute, tan, well built, loves fishing. I thought this girl would be great. I found however after dating her a while that she didn’t hold my interest, and that her brother kind of creeped me out.

Raven I just kind of fell into as far as romance goes. It just seemed that her and my character had a lot in common and could help each other out. Her story seemed to be a lot deeper than the other girls also. She was my first wife.

Although I did not think I would like her at first, Karina started to interest me a lot in my second game. The part where she actually shacked up with me when she ran away from home really peaked my interest. I found her dialog a lot of fun and her story with her mother interesting. She was my second wife.

Others of non-interest:

Sia just seemed too nice. If she was mean once in a while it would have made her more interesting. Chocolat eats a lot. Yeah I get it. She’s also small, under developed and not too bright when eating things from a certain witch. Marion wants to be a witch. I was just never fond of her methods. Persia has a great body (when it is human), and the brain of a three year old. Honestly the air-head personality just really turned me off from the start and just got worse the more I learned about her. Sophia talks backwards. Wow really? It would have been much better if I was able to somehow cure this weirdness, but apparently she always stays this way. Sorry just too weird. There’s an artist, a monster/girl, nothing to see there.

Then there is Sakuya. I do not know why but I really regret not marrying her once. Her quests often involved her fishy friend and/or her mother and were fairly interesting. She seemed a little more sensible than most. She was not the best built or even the cutest, but I still regret.

Maybe if I play again. So anyone else have someone in RF3 or another RF game that they regret they did not marry?

Raven is one of my favourites in the games. I agree with Karina and Sakuya though. They are very interesting. Daria was cool and kept things funny, and I liked her.

As for the others, none of them really stood out. For Carmen, she would abuse you (hitting you with her fishing rod during quests) and Carlos just made things worse. Collette, Marian, and Pia were too childish, Sofia needed to stop speaking opposites, and Kuruna was...odd.

If I had to use my second file, I would regret who I choose, since there are four all together. Raven, Sakuya, Karina, and Daria. Marrying Raven in my main file I regret just a little bit, since it was hard to choose.

I despise Sakuya :?.

I only get married in RF2. Because you have to. I regret not marrying Alicia. She is in my top three favorites and it is always so sad how she has a request about why no one wants to marry her. But still I kept marrying other people. Next time for sure though ^^;.

I stay single in RF1, RFF, and RF3. I have no regrets about not marrying anyone in those games.

Alicia always kinda scared me in RF2. I mean there are all these girls that look like they are about 15 years old ... and then there is Alicia. It was interesting how she would use her fortune telling to try to trick you into saying you liked her (or not). In RF2 Rosilin was by far my favorite and I actually liked the interaction with her brother.

Alicia was a funny character. Rosalind I didn't like all that much. Her events were just really weird to me. And she also just looked kinda strange with that bow thing on her head. I did like her and Max's interactions though. Max is such an awesome guy. He'd make a great brother in law and then uncle. Too bad I couldn't bring myself to marry Rosalind.

Haha I guess you and me have really different taste XD.

Uncle Max was very cool (just don't call him Uncle Max). The fact that he would actually help you marry his sister was cool also.

(off topic in my own thread... :P )

Yeah I liked that too. Max was great to do that for his sister. Dolly also loves Rosalind ^^. I just don't. Her non Max related events turned me away from her. And her normal dialog also seemed weird to me.

Sorry I'm not helping this stay on topic X3.

For me, marriage was just plain boring. I married Sofia, and I don't regret my decision, but since I've already beaten the final dungeon and stuff, everything slows down. That's usually how I get in all my games though, whether it's HM or RF. Consequently, it also means I end up not marrying. I only married in RF2 and 3 because...well, in RF2 you had to and in 3 it finishes the story. But if I've already finished the story, it's unlikely I'll marry.

Married Sakuya and I have no regrets, I always thought her story of being scared of monsters was really nice and her acceptance of you was better than a "lawl you're a monster? Coolz!" then what most of the girls showed because it felt like there was actually development.

Plus if you actually use her for combat she can wield 2h swords and she helped me completely with the entire labyrinth mode.

Married Raven, Daria, and Marian and I don't regret any of them. Marian a little more/less just because I've married twice so the marriage feeling ended quickly or didn't appear at all. But that was cause it was my third time getting married. Collette's my last bride to go, and I look forward to marrying her...~
