I know someone posted this a few days ago. I had the same problem, so I did what someone suggested and sold the chick and bought a new one. Still not growing up though. I bought this one on Spring 24 and it is now Summer 8.
What do?!

try having one of your chickens hatch the baby instead of buying it. or perhaps just buy a full grown chicken and see if that changes anything.

Hmm... I think someone said that the only way they solved this is by buying a fully grown chicken... But yeah, seems like the 4th chick/chicken has some programming issues...

i have the same problem, i was the one who made the other post lol, but its a glitch i believe, the 4th and 5th chicken wont eat, and the if they are chicks they wont grow into chickens, and i just recently brought a 6th chick, a silkie chick, and its not growing to adulthood either so i dont know how to get around that x.x

This seems to be some kind of bug/glitch/whatever. Luckily I don't have much animals. When I start my Bluebell file, I will only buy adult chickens after the third one to avoid this.

^Hmm... That's not good... Does this mean that chickens don't work properly after the third chicken? I know this shouldn't cause the issue, but try getting the chicken coop upgrade and see if that solves the problem...

Well, if the chicken still lay eggs, than it would be no problem to me, but if it doesn't, I'll be a very angry rancher.

And I think moving won't solve the probem, since in Konohana you can only have two chickens, and this problem start happening after the third one.

ok, let me put it this way
if you have a 4th or 5th chicken that is a chick, it wont grow into a chicken, and even after the 6th and so on wont grow into a chicken and it wont eat, any if u breed it from a chicken, also if you by a 4th or 5th chicken that is a chicken it wont eat, also there is no chicken coop or barn upgrade, the barn and chicken coop is already completed with the amount of space needed for chickens and cows,
the only upgrade to buy more cows and sheep, because after you have 6 cows/sheep total, you'll have to expand the animal pasture, and if you buy a 6th chicken it will get stressed out alot, so you got to put it outside, because it wont eat, the 4th and 5th chickens and also 6th and so on, will only eat if you throw them outside
also if you liveing in konohana you can 2 chickens..

^Do they still lay eggs?
And if they still eat when outside, then it's not as bad. The problem is with the growing, since chicks = no eggs. I saw on a topic that the animals Jessica sells are random, so sometimes you go there and she only sells babies, while other times she sells adults too.

That's a pretty « Snuggly Bunny » big glitch. You really would think they would catch that. :/

Try throwing chicken feed on the other feeding slab so that both are used. This should make the chicks grow.
