holy « Cow Poopoo », you're right its not a glitch lmao, it can be fixed, i didnt know i could use my second feed slab, when i threw some food down the chicks came running, so they eatting now,
so i guess if you dont feed them they dont grow, but if you do they will grow,
i wouldve never thought of that lol, you're pretty smart there xD

yea its not, at 1st i thought it was intil that brilliant fishie, said to use the 2nd feeder, then i did and they all can running to eat, so there can only be up to 3 chickens to each feeder, i have 6, so the 1st 3 where getting food and growing and then the others wont because i wasnt useing the 2nd feeder, so thats why the chicks wont growing, eating, or getting any hearts xD
im excited now that i know this, but now i have to make it for the hearts i couldve gain if i've known to earlier xD

Ok... i didn't know this happen. I live in konohana and have one chicken (start as a chick) and one chick (still growing i suppose), so i guess those are the only chickens i would have in my farm :'(

The new thing to me is... do you know if it's the same with calfs and lambs??? that after third they won't grow???

--------------------------------------------------------

Ok thanks, i understood. I like to live in konohana due to the japanese culture, i really like it so i have to sacrifice to have more animals... ;)

its not a glitch, in konohana you cna only have 2 chickens and 4 cows/sheep total, they wont grow or get any hearts if you dont feed them,
in bluebelle the chicken thing is not a glitch i found out i wasnt useing my 2nd feeder (by the help of that smart fishie of course), so the 4th 5th and 6th chick didnt grow or get any hearts because i didnt feed them, because i was aware that i could use the 2nd feeder, because only 3 chickens can eat off of 1 feeder

Oh, so the chicks have to be fed? I just remember from older games that chicks don't have to be fed until they grow into a chicken...

^Ugh, okay... Thanks for the info... BTW, did they gain hearts when you picked them up or when you took them out to graze? I assume it counts towards feeding them if you throw them out into the pasture, or are chicks different?

Just to prevent further questions, each slab feeds 3 chicks/chickens. So from 1-3 you use the top left slab, from 4-6 you use the top right slab and so on for 7-9 and 10-12.

yea they gain hearts the same way the chickens do, just pick them up and they'll get a heart and also putting them outside will help aswell, putting them outside lowers the stress bar,

^I'll definitely keep that in mind, but currently, I have no plans to go over three chickens... Do chicks get stressed when you don't feed them?

Well, something SIMILAR happened to me. I started off with the one chicken plus one I bought the same day for a while, but when I had the money I went ahead and purchased 6 chicks at one time, and the next day I bought two more to fill up my coop. When the first six grew up in a week, I expected the other two to grow up also the next day, but they didn't grow up for another week. In the end they did mature, but it strangely took longer than it should.
