the difference is that if you're a HM addict you'll know by heart that red are rarer than brown that are rarer than green. Something like that.

Thats what I thought when I saw the red sparrow, and instantly SI popped up in my memory, and I was like, hmm, I wonder if the red is rarer or better than the brown in some way? But apparently not... D:

oh, you meant the wild animals! Sorry, I tought you were talking about the bugs. There are some animals that are other color. I just call them albinos, since they're other color from the rest. But no, they're no rarer than the others.

no, i'm talking about the bugs in critters, although i haven't seen red critter as you said....

Not all the critters follow this logic. There are some rare critters that are cheaper than some normal ones from other species, so you should not get too attached to this.
