I was under the impression that you could not sell animals?

you can sell animals, but not pets.

Yep, when I did the first upgrade for the crop field in Konohana (which is all I've gotten to do so far) it required only like 2 material stone. I expect later upgrades will require more, but probably not much. The other upgrades like the waterwheel and fish pond will require more, though.

If you mean the crop field, then no, you can not make that any larger in Bluebell - not specifically, anyway. However, when you get the beehives, there is more plant-able area around the beehives that opens up.

When butters said you could upgrade the field in Bluebell, he meant the animal pasture. You can not plant crops there.

ok i can answer this one, you can have 16 total animals on bluebelle farm but you can only hold up to 6 animals total intil you get the 1st field expansion then you can hold more animals also you can have 12 chickens total 3 to each feeder slab so you still have space to get the silkie chicken, and with konohana you can only have 4 animals total and 2 chickens total and since you have the black and white cat you wont be able to get the other colors that are unlock in year 2

Something else came to mind, I have been focusing on animals, I did not think about planting crops. (just a couple in bluebell) If I have not lived in Konohana yet, can I use the Konohana field to plant? And if I can, am I limited in any way by not living there?

People said you can plant there, yes. I live in Konohana, so I can't say it for sure, but if you have a sickle, go to Konohana and try to cut the grass to plant. If you suceed, voila! You can plant.

By the way I have a question... When the fruit trees will be available?

tea bushes can show up during the first winter the other trees start showing up during year 2

you can still use the konohana field if you live in bluebelle the only downfalls are that you cant expand the field since you livee in bluebelle and aslo you have to travel all the way from bluebelle just to tend your crops in konohana

There is one very annoying thing I have noticed from the beginning, my chickens will only lay eggs if they are in the chicken coop, but if I leave them outside over night, I get no eggs! Why is this? Is there any benefit to taking them outside, and if I wake them up at night to take them in (after a night of forging I come back late), do they lose heart points?

They don't lose heart points, they get stressed, but it is better to wake them up and put them inside, not only for the egg on the next day, but if you let it out the stress bar will grow faster than if you just wake it up and put it back inside. At least that's what people said...

I always wondered if it was pretty much illegal that we can use land that we don't actually own.

How do I get pets? .-.

Did you go to BOTH pet stores located in Bluebell and Konohana and checked? I do remember my owl popped up in the store after I cleared the first tunnel if that has anything to do with it. Animals have nothing to do with getting the pets from my understanding, as I got my owl before I even bought any animals as I live in Konohana.

look in the store everyday it's random. You will have to buy a Lamb before you can buy full grown sheep.
