Congrats on 100% (or near-100%) completion!

One thing to add - I am fairly sure that I was able to catch a Sea Bass - just a regular one, not a Large one - with the regular rod, so I didn't need the master rod for it.

But I don't have my "proof" with me right now (where I wrote down stuff I caught) so I can't check until later. Still, I am 99.8% sure I caught it with the regular rod. And I wanted to keep this thread on the first page, so... ^_^

Personally, I've never caught one with the regular rod, but always catch them with the master. Black Bass can be caught with either, but if you find an instance in which you caught the Sea Bass with the regular rod, let me know. I'd just like you to be certain instead of fairly sure :)

Urk, you were right.

I went home and checked, and it was only the Small Sea Bass that I caught with the regular rod. I did catch the Sea Bass, but like you it was with the master rod.

I guess I just thought it looked odd on the list, that two sizes of the fish were master-rod-only, where for most other types of fish, it was two regular-rod fish and only one master-rod fish. ^_^

Sorry about that! I'm very very glad you asked me to double-check!

But guys,, How can I get to fish in winter? All the waters are frozen @_@ I'm totally confused. People always request me fish and I just do nothing because I don't know how to fish with the frozen water.

Now that http://www.fogu.com/hm10/activities/fishing.php is up, can one of the creators check and see if Cher used our data, or if that fishing guide is more accurate / updated than what we have?

I already noticed something different: it says that the salamander is caught on Fall. And also something interesting: you need to enter the area after midnight to catch it. So that's why I wasn't able to catch it.

It looks pretty good to me. I did this for those who were too impatient to wait for her to include the info in the guide. Now that it's there...well...I guess this is obsolete

And @Lucaspontes - I got that information from the Japanese Wiki, and I think that it was inaccurate.

I just wanted to make sure that the fishing guide posted wasn't just a reformat of what we have gathered here, but the real guide. This was a great job while it was useful, I'll definitely keep it bookmarked just incase =]

After spending almost every night of entire month of summer fishing for the salamander and giving up, I saw Cher's guide stating it's caught in Fall, so I tried fishing expecting it to be the last time I tried.
The first fish I caught was the salamander.
...
I'll try to stay positive and say that at least I made a lot of money from all that fishing.
