So I just caught 2 of them. Is there any point to them??

Not to my knowledge, except for that they probably sell for a lot considering how rare they are.

Actually, they only sell for 200G.. D;

And unfortunately I have no idea if they have any purpose, besides the fact that I think Mikhail likes them.
