I registered yesterday and this morning when i went to log in it told me i was permanently banned for not sending off a COPPA Permission form, now considering i was born before 1994 and am a legal adult in pretty much all countries this shocked me, has anyone else encountered this problem?

It is possible you may have accidentily chosen the wrong register link when you set up your account.
One is for those above 13 and one is for those below. Though others have claimed to have this happen when they clicked the above 13 one too.
Either way you were registered on Ushi as being under 13 and need to complete the COPPA form in order to log in.
Unfortunately, Cher has responded to this problem in the past and stated you will have to complete the form if you were banned for that reason, regardless of how it transpired, and send it in. One should have been sent to the email address you registered under.
And as for age. Ushi is a US based site therefore the adulthood age is 18.

I clicked the right link am 21 and live outside the USA the only solution can't be possibly to pay to have a letter sent half way across the world to confirm i am 21 when i didn't make a mistake at registration and can prove as i have the activation email which had no where on it the COPPA form, i'm sure if i explain this to Cher in an email which i already have she should understand this.

How can you be 21 if you were born in 1994?

If you've tried to re-register to get around the COPPA form you will be banned. it's as simple as that.
If you have clicked the wrong link you still need to Fax the coppa form to Cher. It doesn't matter where you live, the forum is hosted in the US therefore it subscribes to US law.
Frankly your date of birth and your birthdate are not adding up, adding suspicion to you!

It's alright, for all those i've confused with my bad english person english i was born July 23rd 1990 at 11am it was a monday according to my mum and miserable weather, i have a birth certificate, and CRB check [i'm an assistant foster carer] both attesting to this age, i'd be willing to copy these and attach them to an email to cher but i do not have a fax machine as don't most people in the uk these days and am not willing to pay overseas mail charges for something i think could be easily verified by email as i'm sure cher can understand. I'm not trying to be difficult i just think theres a simple way to sort this out as I haven't broken any site rules in regards to my age and have the verification email and proof of age available....^^'

Another Brit?
I'd suggest emailing the coppa form to her. It may work. I can't remember off hand if you can email them :D
Otherwise most local libraries have a fax, (Or at least they do here in scotland)

Is it just me, or does it seem like a lot of "adult" people manage to "accidently" click on the wrong link when registering?

Because i got the activation email i didn't recieve the COPPA form either so i can't send her it i've read all the topics on faxing and sending by mail knowing that faxing is an option i don't have since nowhere in britain uses fax anymore including big business who regulate information by using secure networking.
