For me it's pretty hard to chose. SNES, 64, BtN, or AWL.. They all have such awesome music, I can't chose.

I would say any of the Rune Factory games, Innocent Life, DS/DS Cute, or AWL. I cannot pick a favourite, since each one's music suited them very well, and brought out a different emotion.
Magical Melody really did suit the game, but I didn't have it long enough to make a good decision on that.
To be honest, I love all the music, but the ones I listed are my top favourites.

DS Cute was rather weak as a game.

But I personally thought it had an AMAZING soundtrack.

The Fall and Winter Music themes were especially memorable...

The most memorable for me would definitely be Harvest Moon 64. I can pick out that music anywhere. Then again, it was my first HM game and ultimately what got me attached to the series so I'm probably biased.

I find that some of the HM tunes are grating while others are genuinely pleasant and mood setting.

For instance, I can't stand spring music in HM64 but adore all the other seasons. Actually, a lot of the spring tunes I really just don't like.


Just bought ToT and out of all the HM games I have ever played (snes, 64, btn, sth, awl, (m)+fomt, magical melody) I have NEVER heard a song more grating than ToT's summer theme.
Make it stop. Oh gods, please. Can't wait for Fall in this game.

Just based on what I've heard from the records in Cute, I'd say Save the Homeland. I haven't actually played that game, though, so I don't know how the rest of the soundtrack compares to the selection in DSC.

Based on games I've actually played, Island of Happiness. The music in that game is very relaxing.

I liked HoLV's music the best. :T

I'm stuck between 64 and AWL. BTN isn't the best game in the series but it's soundtrack is amazing; so amazing it had a CD... In Japan.

HM64 I think, because the music in this game is the only one that I never forgot. Then again, it was the first HM game I played, I think it's only natural that I remember the music even today.

I loved the opening theme SO MUCH.

I will never be able to express with words how much I loved the opening theme song.

Well, HMDS has records from previous games that I LOVE, so if you'd consider HMDS to "have" that music, I'd say that has the best.

I LOVE Summer Memories and Marine Jazz...they are amazing songs. I also love Quiet Winter, though I prefer the AWL version.

MM also has nice music, especially the fall theme. That's my favorite fall theme.

I'd have to say Magical Melody cuz thats my first HM game, then DS and SI was good.

The game that I think has the best music would be BtN/FoMT/MFoMT (since they all have the same soundtrack). Not only is the music nostalgic, but I STILL get the songs from those games stuck in my head years later! My favorite sound would be the spring theme, and my second favorite would be the fall theme. The spring them is just a really happy and pretty song. The winter theme is good too but I'll admit it's a very sad song. The town theme fit perfectly.

My second favorite would be the music in StH. I really liked the fall theme in that game. I remember liking a lot of the other music but I can't seem to remember a lot of the songs.
