Since we have more players now, and the 3 I asked ended up giving one of each answer, I'm gonna need to re-ask this.
We have 2 options of markets
Chest-based shops where there is a central, physical marketplace where you can use chests to exchange x items for y items. You could make the chest give people 300 cobblestone for every gold ingot they trade, etc.
Pros: It's more communal, interactive, and atmospheric, ensures that nothing more than what is mined from the world is created
Cons: Trading values are entirely dependent on other players. Requires management (restocking, etc.)
Other: Might require warps
Now that we have more active players, it can be more reliable for finding what you need.
Command-line market, where you just type something like /shop buy iron ingot 3 or /shop sell cobblestone 300. There is an infinite supply of blocks and buy & sell prices are determined by me.
Pros: Quick, easy to use
Cons: Relies on the quality of my pricing, allows unconsidered loopholes in pricing to give unwarranted profit/loss, creates more than what is mined from the world
In addition to thoughts, if you can give your preferences for each on a scale of 1-7 where 4 is neutral, that would help determine a more founded decision.
hrm...I don't really know, I kind of prefer a bit of both of them
since I like the idea of being able to buy and sell any wares you have but it might be wise to use commands if there is a glitch where you could take a few items without paying?
I dunno I am not sure xD maybe a 6 for chest based and a 5 for command based

I think I would prefer the command-line market, mostly because I would know that the materials will always be available, but also because I don't want to have to make the day-long trek to the market and then back each time I need something. If we had warps or even just /home and /spawn, that wouldn't bother me.
I would say command-line is a 6 for me right now. If we get /home and /spawn, that drops to 5. I think I would be fine with the chest-based option, though.

No upload necessary, it's all done on your local machine~
Just open your texture pack's .zip file, and replace it's /art/kz.png with the image I posted. You might be able to just drag and drop the file into the right place. It's been a while since I did any archive manipulation on Windows.
That resolution thing I mentioned is this: HD texture fix.
I just got a Minecraft account. I'd love to join the server, but I have a technical problem. How do you start the game? I get up until after the world loading screens and then the screen turns black. Nothing comes up again except a split second of the login screen. I'm using the Mac port. Help me please! Thanks!

When you log in, go to options and press force update.
If that doesn't work, update your graphics card driver and see what happens.
Vanny I can't communicate with the server either T_T
