whoo, there is a bukkit port of the elevator mod i was talking about...
(Bukkit Port by EduardoTA)
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/302 ... 9ers-mods/
its listed below the 1player and server versions download links under the image of the elevator
^^ maybe the mansions can has lifts now?
watched the vid. if you place the blocks next to eachother they all move as one, so the small elevators in the mansion could be made by placing 2 blocks : that way, and the bigger ones from the city would be 4 blocks. the ones from the bases would be 5 or 6 across lol.
the call button is made by placing 2 blocks ontop in crafting, while the normal buttons are 2 side by side i think, and they dont do anything for redstone circuts, but the lifts can power redstone (after a seccond or so delay)when they are connected to the circuts.

Reminder: the City is a group project being lead by Lexy. Practical resources like Iron mined in the general area whilst residing in the city are supposed to be partially shared with the public chests.
I say this because there's a resource deficit in the public chests compared to what's in most peoples' private chests. Especially Iron.
Resources here should be allocated either to public vaults or to your own projects within the city. It was decided at the start that we couldn't bring old resources to the city for the sake of building up from scratch again -- They generally shouldn't leave either, unless we cease working there, or it's just abundant and not necessary.
The current building is meant primarily as a resource center. It's in the process of expanding beyond the walls at the moment, where we will begin to figure out where we'll be building (such as residential buildings for ourselves, away from our stairwell haven)
Ask Lexy for what you can do to help, since we're transitioning out of the "farming" stage.
The city is also meant to be inspired by Dwemer cities from Skyrim. Questions about the theme should be asked to Lexy.
MY personal desires at the moment would be to decorate and alter our resource center building to improve it while building the main roads outside the city. @Lexy; thoughts?
I just made a ton of charcoal so we can smelt a ton of cobble into stone and craft stone bricks. That should help with variety.

We have been hard at work. I've been working for a while trying to flatten out the land around us but.. it takes a while. =scoolcat10189 wrote:Cool, so when will you guys really get started on the project?
