I'm not updating to 1.2.3 until they turn the Zombie and Skeleton AI back to what it was before, no exceptions. >:(

well i dont expect they will change it back....
but, if you ask nicely on the forums (after a search incase someone else allready asked and got accepted) someone might make a mod for that you can use in ssp.

(like how someone made a mod to turn the hitboxes back on/off for ladders, befor mojang changed their minds)
now i dont see them actualy turning that back to how it was (AI i mean) unlike the ladder things. casue the ladder thing was about the parkour maps which needed the ladder thing, while the AI is about the skeles ect being just too smart, right?

personaly, appart from the zombies banging on doors in any village thats got villagers, its not that different in easy lol.
but if you want to make sure the zombies wont bash, swap all the doors to iron. true, the villagers wont use the houses anymore (seems like they only recognise the wooden doors as things to hide behind whenits raining/night) and even adding pressureplates wouldnt make em go indoors untill i swapped the iron back to wooden doors.

Oh, now I have to fence and gate my bed.

only on hard mode can a zombie open a door, and thats from breakign it down.
they prefer to go after the villager homes though. (testificate vilalges)
and iron door is all thats needed to stop a zombie gettng inside your house right now. (or playing on peacefull/easy/normal)
if your worried, 3 blocks of iron in a T shape with a pumpkin on the top make an iron golem that will patrol the village and fight off things. (not sure how he does against creepers though you can use ocelots for that as creepers dont like tamed kittys)

if your realy worried, build above the ground and use a ladder / vine with block behind combo so you can climb up, and just make sure to use enough lights

All of my houses (bar the commandeered ones in NPC villages) are at least two story, so I'm fine I guess.

well whenever i have the resources, becasue its got zombies in it, i refer back to the apocalypse chalenge rules.

that all houses need to be offground, be it decking or a seccong story via walls or pillars.

it might be sims and not minecraft but hey, the rules usefull XD (especialy if i cant bounce back to peacefull casue im on multiplayer)

Pam has updated her mods again, and has uploaded part 1 (wood) of the hearthcraft decoratives mod.

this includes...
16 colores of each of the following wood based items.

workbench,bookshelf,wood stairs,wood fence,wood gate, wooden planks, dyed wood, wood with dyed bark, see thru leaves,leaf block and multiple block, half block and pavers with different painterly style texture version.

once the smp/bukkit version of this mod arrives its going to be popular on builder worlds ^^

and thats just the wood so far. she has stone, glass, metal to do yet :D

I can't join, is this server whitelisted or something?

what version are you set at? currently the Oomcraft is at 1.1
any other version above or below will get a minecraft version of 'bugger off'
i dont think its whitelisted, but i think you have to report in and ask if you want to affect it, but im not 100% sure
