@ Nina and Messiah- The 64 version of the HG festival sounds awesome :')) . It's good you can get to dance with your chosen girl. (I especially liked Mary's HG festival sprite...she looks so pretty with her glasses it is not really gaudy to me.)

I woo them early for them to have a purple heart before the festival. Elli and Popuri are the easiest to woo. Karen's liked gift is quite expensive... (the wine) though I give her moondrop from time to time.

I wish the HG festival will return on the next HM games.

And the after-festival event is always so sweet.

elli is really easy to woo, haha. just give her a couple rucksacks of flowers a day, and she'll be at purple heart by the 5th.

mary tends to be hard, though, since i've never been able to get her introduction event to trigger if i pour tons of flowers on her on monday when the library is closed (and she stands in a field of flowers), since i guess her affection is already too high, and i can't seem to get by without the heart point boost that the intro event gives. hmm. and, of course, i don't want to wait a day to start giving her gifts so i can wait for the library to open so i can see her intro event... she's easy to woo otherwise, just difficult to get to the goddess festival in the first year, haha.

yeah, the after-event dates are really sweet. they have things like that in 64, too, and more festivals where you go to a specific location to meet a specific girl and have a date (that's how the fireworks work in that game, and i'ts much more romantic than having everyone on the beach <3)

though, someday, i want to invite kai to watch fireworks with me in BTN. i've never done it, and i really want to.

You haven't gotten her introduction? Now...that is odd. For the gifts, try giving her blue grass, or those grasses you get in spring. She likes those IIRC. I had her as a partner before. She was my first partner actually. Her HG fest sprite is really pretty as I mentioned before. :P

When I tried to woo Karen early in the game, I got bankrupt. XD Moondrop doesn't do much. :/ The moon viewing festival is cool as well but I tend to forget about it. XD

I watched it with nobody in BTN:FG. I never knew you can marry there...it was my first game too. V_V

i can get her intro event if i don't try wooing her first. if i try wooing her first and give her gifts, i can't ever seem to activate it. as i said, i think it's because her affection is too high. i'm thinking that this isn't like FoMT where it has to be a certain affection or higher, it seems to have a cap. thankfully the event isn't required for anything!

i find karen to not be that difficult, but i talk to her a lot when buying things, so that's probably why~ i never really try to hurry up and get married, since i know i have 3 years, and 3 years is a very long time in this game! karen was my first BTN girl.

When I ran into her library, the event activated automatically. I am the type who rushes into things so much that I marry in 1st year of Winter. ^_^;. The after marriage dialogues are interesting and so are the pregnancy ones. Karen's pregnant dialogues are pure win. XD

The Starry night fest with your wife and child is really sweet and nostalgic. :lala:
