Y'know what? I don't think those are marriage candidates that you guys are looking at. I think they are different versions of the main characters. If you run the text through google translate, it indicates that they are the different customization options that you have ranging from hair, clothes, and facial expressions. Here's the translated part that goes with the image:

"Make Character", the stop just choose your favorite character so far as either gender, hair and skin color, eye color, ranging from apparel, and that can be extensively customized. As in previous series, of course, men and women in their "love" that element is also provided.

They are marriage candidates because in screenshots with their sprites, they have a heart on their picture like most bachelors and bachelorettes do. Plus, it says that they have specific occupations, so they can't be just another option for a playable character.

It looks to me that it's kinda like HMDS where you can layout your farm how you want to. Though it looks as if you have even more freedom in that you can move your house. I was just thinking today about how it would be awesome to have another HM where we could do that.

I'm loving the customization! I just hope they don't focus on that too much and don't add anything new to the farming aspect.

Also I'm already obsessed with the red head.

The site with the bachelors and bachelorettes was slow so I was reading all the comments thinking "Oh my goodness, who is this red-headed bachelor character?" It finally worked, and mygod he's yummy. First guy with glasses that is attractive and I'm loooooving it. I think the other guy is good too though, he just looks less mature and more cute, while Mr. Red-Head is hot. Anyways this game looks amazing and I'm excited for customization!
