But yeah...point is, in Tott both sides got a special marriage candidate AND a returning character.

So who's to say they won't be doing that with Land of Beginning, and just haven't announced it?

<-- has weakness for silver haired guys. though strangely, not interested in Celka. <.< (its the overly submissive expression he has in his art. to nice...I like a bit of confidence or spice. hopefully my opinion changes with the actual gameplay. xD)

The ToTT children are extremely cute in their design though. I'm still not sure whether I want the girl or the boy. so cute. ^.^

I think Amir looks a lot better than Celka too, his features are just a lot more attractive.

Agreed. I would prefer it to get a hold of Celka's design and tweak it. Just like with Sengoku. But its also possibly cause I'm getting some strong Elliot vibes off of Celka. And sorry, but there are two characters I've disliked most in all the HM games to date...Elliot and Rock. (yes, I didn't like Rock in AWL. >8T)

That and...can't believe I, the long haired loving person is about to say this...but Celka is a little too effeminate for my taste. xD He looks 2 bumps away from being a girl. xD (*hides from the celka fans*)

Unfortunately no XD I didn't read your previous post properly, my bad!

Anyway, well, just because it was in a previous game doesn't mean they'll put it in the next game. They tried out the flowers but that was only in TOTT, as you can tell from the screenshots they scrapped it for this game. And it's about a week from LoB's release date, they probably would've slipped it in somewhere by now...
Although, there were only two slots of the "Coming Soon!" on the website in the villagers under the gourmet chef and then they released four more villagers so it is possible.

Well, I think the children are alright, they certainly look cute in this game! And don't look generic copies of each other either! But I do miss the variations of children depending on who you married that they use to have...

I'm kind of surprised Alisa isn't making a return, because I was expecting they'd put her on the final step by allowing anyone who married her to have children with her...

Is it just me or does it look like the rivals won't be making a return?

Ah, that's another thing which made the special bachelor/ettes special - they didn't have any rivals.

Yes, I do prefer Amir's looks too. In comparison, Celka just looks a bit too soft and bland.

Amir and Celka both have this wealthy feel to them, I wouldn't be surprised if they were related.

That's like saying all the others with light skin must be connected.

Though there seems to be a bit of Indian and gypsy culture flavors in this game, with Celka, Kamiriya, Rebecca and Tony, and Olivia. And now Amir.

Not that that's a bad thing. I like the diversity. =D

I wonder if Olivia and Amir are actually related in some way, since Olivia looks quite like a princess in my opinion.

In fact, her and Amir have more in common with the same silver hair with purple tinting, the skin (yes), and the rather royal looking attire.

Since Olivia doesn't like to talk about herself...maybe they're cousins?

You make a good point. Do you guys think maybe...this could be his sister that he always mentioned? that would be so cool!

Ugh, Rock is such a spoiled brat and Elliot is such a submissive wimp. I wish they had a man up event for him like with Bismark, that made me like him a lot more. Especially when he looks like this.XD

But like I said, opinions change once you actually start to play the game. Unless its all flat dating like in ToTT. with no personality. ><

My thoughts is we only had one slot in the female section for Land of Beginning, right?

But now we have Yuri AND the Witch Princess. That's two more when there was only 1 slot.

And they're still releasing info this close to the release...so who knows. *waits to see*

Nope, I'm happy to see Schmidt/Amir back. Since he was my favorite in GB, and he's a rather unique personality "type" in HM. Like the mature big brother type without being a bro.

It was unexpected though, because with the introduction of Celka I thought he would be the "token" foreign bachelor. But seems like we have two of them!

I'll probably marry him and Neil. Allen's cool and all but I think I'm too mainstream for him.

Actually there are 2 empty slots on the website, presumably one for Yuri and one for WP.

XDDDD Could you imagine if there was a random event where Celka turned to whoever and said "I'm sick and tired of this lifestyle! Why don't you just shut your mouth, that goes for all of you!" and goes off into a rant before going to Yuri and Allen's stores to get a make-over? XD And he comes out with sunglasses, dyed hair and piercings?

Hmm, I'll probably end up marrying Neil. Seeing as he has an improved Vaughn personality, I'll probably grow to like him. I hated the sound of Vaughn before IoH came out but when I started playing the game he grew on me quickly XD I was such a sucker for his type, but I got impatient and ended up marrying Denny instead.
