but if you guys look at Magical melody, some of the male characters look....pretty much near exact copies of Trent, Kai, Grey, Cliff etc, just with different names and clothes

that and you have Nina which I've been told is the same Nina in DS, just older!

One thing I know is Harvest Moon game is getting interesting.... I love all of them, I even bought 3DS because it had Harvest Moon. (If they move it too another platform then.... ) I hope not...

Well, all bachelors and bachelorettes have been announced... I can't wait to get the copy of the game.

I hope they put rivalry in this game because it makes the game more interesting. However, I think they don't implement it here... Sighhh...

I love Licorice-type bachelorette, but there is no one like her... Maybe Yuri is the closest one... LOL.

Schmidt and WP aren't interesting for me, but they look better here...

As for timeline, well, don't think too hard about it because it is fun without timeline...

well, they've not all been officially announced, the official website hasn't been updated for them yet

and I reeeeeeaaaaaly want a 3DS now for this game, but since it'll probably be a couple of years before the UK gets the game (it had better!! if they don;t release it here then I'll die D: )

buuuut chances are I'd move in with my partner by then so I'll just steal his 3DS ^_^

They are the same characters, living in the different time, in the different town and they have different backstory.

Honestly can't remember. I think I remember a few people mentioning here or on Youtube.

When I meant "first HM game" I meant time-wise. Like how DS takes places after AWL and how ToT takes places after AP. This games is supposed to pre-date them all (hence the name "Land of Beginning").

Oh, I see. I think that could've been the case if they didn't bring back Amir....but since they did I'm guessing that that's not the case It would've been cool though. Honestly, the HM timeline is pretty confusing

I'm sticking with my original belief...that there is no such thing as a timeline with any HM games. xD

I haven't been here for awhile, I revisited because I saw something about the return of Amir. Is he going to be a bachelor? If he is thats really lame, Celka is already a look alike of him and I don't like the whole gray hair look. :/

We're not 100% sure yet, because we haven't seen a screenshot where he has a heart yet, but probably.

Come on just because the have the same skin tone and hair color does not mean they are the same ':D. Neil and Rod are both white with blond hair and no one calls them look alikes.

Besides the things mentioned above Celka and Amir don't look that similar in my opinion. Their faces, facial expression, hair styles, eye colors, and outfits are definitely distinguishable from each other. Plus they'll probably have different personalities. So I don't think it's fair to base their look alikeness on just that.

I hope Amir is a bachelor I love em both.
