You know... it looks like there are 2 more character info boxes under the ones for the marriage candidates in those page scans, doesn't it? It looks like the tops of 2 blonde heads. Anyone else notice that?

Looks like a blonde girl and a ...er something. It might not be blonde, for some reason I am thinking male. But the art is not in line with the other artwork, is it?

Reading the Japanese and looking at what was written on the general FAQ, there are a few details left to be said:

A) There are no more levels for your house. So there are no upgrades for your house like for example in MM.

B) You can choose between European and Japanese styles homes - and it sounds like it's not an upgrade or something you have to purchase. (not confirmed but it seems to me through context) -- I think it looks so weird as you 'pick up' your house quite literally.

C) They used the 3D of the system to its full potential by creating a series of hills or levels for your fields so you can see your fields in a neat 3D effect looking down at your farm. -- glad to see that they are thinking about such things.

I am hoping that when they say that there are no more house level upgrades they aren't talking about all structure upgrades and the idea of addons from old HM games might be making a return instead. But I guess that's something to wait and see.

I hope that by saying you can choose between them that there are multiple styles of Eastern and Western buildings. It doesn't really seem like much of a selection if it's only two.

But the 3D terrain feature does sound like it will look pretty cool. I wonder if we will be able to set things on slopes(probably not), or if it's just a series of terraces with ramps connecting the various levels.

Your right, one looks like it may be another blonde haired guy since the hair is on the bachelors side, and the other looks pink or blonde(the lighting on the page makes it hard to tell) with a headband on the bachelorette side. Unfortunately, all we can see is their hair and these are the only scans that have been shown so far. So all we know is that there are two other characters, but we don't know who they are or what they look like

Oh, yes. That scan of the page is more complete then the one I have.
I wonder who those characters are? They don't seem like marriage candidates, nor do they seem to be presented as such. But if they are, then the guy would fulfill the desire in the past for an older more muscular looking love interest.

I've noticed those two as well. The people at the bottom. Rose man and maybe a granny lady. She looks kind of on the aged side to me.

That was my thought as well. Though from the look of the guy he seems like he might be part of a wealthy family. So it would make me wonder why his daughter would work in a restaurant/cafe...hobby maybe.

But is it just me or does the women at the bottom of the scan look like an older version of Laney?

Possibly, but I only really see a similarity in hairstyles. It might have something to do with the quality of the scan, but the lady's eyes look too dark to be the same color as Laney's.

Well the quality of the images of the scans aren't that great. But it does look like the women in the image has green eyes. But your probably right that it's not. I was just drawing comparisons.

They look brown or possibly violet to me. But that might be the scan quality. They also looked like they are shaped differently then Laney's but that might be because of the art style. It might be better to wait for a more full body pic and maybe some character description. :D
I do have to agree on saying that Rose Man looks wealthy.

Someone's probably already mentioned this, but I think the character customization is actually such a big deal because there are probably going to be more advanced online/multiplayer features...

And I think Hina (hairbun) is a little girl. She's Gardener(square-chin)'s daughter it says. I'm not sure why people are saying she looks old unless that means people now think Hiro etc. look old with that face and eye shape. And he runs a travel agency?? More support for online features theory.

Well we don't know for sure yet if he is or is not a marriage candidate.
He just doesn't seem to be displayed like the love interests we are sure about.
Not to mention he looks older then bachelor's in the past.
But Marvelous could always be trying to do something new.

All the bachelors and bachelorettes have that orange-text-thingy next to their name. The bottom 2 don't.
