2. Hana should have the Big Pack in her shop after a little while, and after you buy that the Huge pack becomes available.

Crabs are used to make fish bait and are in a couple recipes, so I would save a few of them just in case.

Upgrade 2 comes in the summer, and I think upgrade 3 comes in the fall.

Fish bait is made for you by Kosaburo and the stuff you have him make works better than the stuff he sells in his shop. When you are rod fishing, if you use the fish bait on the water first, then it makes the fish bite faster.

It's useful for when you just want to reel in more fish or recipes. It's even more useful during the fishing festival. If you hope to win that, it's recommended that you use the Good Fish Food/fish bait that Kosaburo makes. It helps because catching fish with a fishing rod can be (even more) annoying otherwise.

The water-based field is called the Paddy. The blueprint is 3200 G at Rebecca's after you reach Summer 1 of your first year. You need 8 Soil and 5 Small Material Stone to construct it and the Paddy can only be used to grow Rice, Lotus Root, and Wasabi.
