I've been visiting the southern island 4 days per week in winter in an effort to get pearls. I did find a seaweed on one of my visits on the island with the pearls, cocoa etc. I'd say I've gone about 15-18 times total and it was on the 3rd to last visit I made.

What is seaweed used for that makes it so desirable?

Aww, thank you! It's okay though, I have one in my fridge. Sandra sure does make the game alot more challenging!

When/how do you unlock flax and cotton?

Flax unlocks in Winter, Cotton unlocks in Fall.

Quick question. So, with each festival, you get seeds. I'm in year 3, and I get three star seeds. Does this mean in year 5, I'll be getting 5 star seeds?

Nope. You got 3 star seeds for winning the advanced festival, am I right? You get one star seeds for winning beginner, 2 star for intermediate, and 3 star for advanced. Unfortunately you can't get any higher than that from festivals. :c

i saw a walkthrough that when you are dating ur sweetheart you will recieve free food everyday ........that happen to my MC but after that he stopped giving me free food everyday...any idea what the problem is??

Tons of them. Seriously. Just keep gifting him until he gives you his Secret Recipe. Then you'll be in the clear.

What does he say when he gives you that? Is it called "Secret Recipe"?

It's called "Clement's Secret Recipe". First he'll give you Starter recipes, then Beginner, then Intermediate, then Advanced, and then you'll get that. So yeah, prepare to receive a « Cow Poopoo » ton of recipes.
