Q about my weird CHILD in Sunshine Islands???

I married Will in HMSI, I was pregnant for like three seasons and my child was born. (Normal there.) I had to wait about 2 years until my child was old enough to crawl. So I woke up one morning expecting to see the child crawling event.
I played Island of Happiness, married Vaugn and my child (boy) was brown haired with brown eyes.
In the crawling event on SI, I woke up and my child (girl) looked just like Will with blue eyes and blonde hair!
Does your child's appearence change depending on who you marry in SI? I'm not disappointed, my child's really cute! Just wondering- I want to marry Elliot next time and get a pink haired child!!!

Well their appearance can change but their gender? I'm pretty sure it shouldnt O.o

your child should look the same no matter who you chose, I think both have brown hair and eyes, but the girl's is lighter and up in a pony tail.

but the thing about your child's appearance and gender changing is odd .__.; maybe your child is secretly a galifreyan time lord! xD

I have a girl and she had brown eyes and reddish brown hair.. o.o It didn't look light to me, could some one show me a picture to reference to?

If you look at the stickied post at the top of the forum, the boy's picture is there. (Villagers pictures)

He looks just like my son. The picture of the girl in Sasuko's post is similar to the boy but without the girl's ponytail.

The child's gender didn't change. The post was just a bit convoluted. The post was making a comparison between Island of Happiness and Sunshine Islands and the children the poster had in both games. So, in IoH the child was a boy and SI the child was a girl. I have yet to have a kid in SI though so I don't know if the appearance is affected by the spouse or not.

I've had a daughter in Sunshine Islands but she looks just like the one from Island of Happiness with brown hair and brown eyes, as far as I know the appearance of the child isn't affected by your spouse because if it did then my child would have Vaughn's hair and eye color but she doesn't. I don't think that is supposed to happen in this game

Yes, I had a boy in IoH and a girl in SI. The problem is everyone is saying that your child's appearance (hair and eye colour) does not change depending on who you marry in SI.
So you see I married Will, and I looked at the picture of the female child in SI that someone posted. In the picture, the normal female child has BROWN hair and BROWN eyes instead. However, in my game Will's child had BLONDE hair and BLUE eyes!!!!
I'm not disappointed, other than that I think my child is completely normal. Actually, she's really cute!
I'm just worried.... Is this some kind of huge glitch? I hope there's not any other glitches in my game that could stop me for completing in

it does kind of sound like a glitch to me, go onto your assets screen and look at the picture of the child on there, does that picture also have blonde hair and blue eyes?

and yes I would love it if you could take a picture of this strange girl child! xD

I've only ever had a child with Vaughn (never played enough on any other hm game to get a kid >_< *fail*) and he was just the average kid with brown hair/eyes. I wish he'd been born with either silver hair and blue eyes, or brown hair and purple eyes. That would have been sooo cute ^_^

But yeah, I dont think the kid's meant to change depending on your spouse. So, if you could, please post a picture of it so we can see!

Omg you too? I wanted my daughter to have Vaughn's hair and my blue eyes XD And I've seen a picture on deviantart that kind of sounds like what she is saying but they were recolors of the child's picture
