A New Generation?

Am I the only one thinking about not getting this game? This game really looks so different and I don't know if I'll enjoy this. Anyone else feeling like this or is it just me?

Not really the style of changes with almost every HM game, and new features come and go.
So I'm pretty much used to this.

I like it.
I see change as a generally good thing for new games until it proves me wrong.
(The art design looks a lot like ToTT to me! But the field/game graphics are more like a console HM. Visually I'm actually reminded of HoLV a little, because it's also a 3d portable game.)

If it relies way too heavily on an onlline/multiplayer feature that will be a huge drawback for me, but there haven't been any details on what the online/multi features will be yet and I really doubt it will be a key point.

Maybe its just the look of the game that worries me a lot, or maybe because there's a character lifting his/her house up. I'm still gonna look into this once more information has been released though. I've bought HM titles on impulse before (SI, IoH, MM) so forgive me for being a little paranoid about this.

I really enjoyed MM, that is one of the reasos why I am so glad we can design how everything on your is layed out. I enjoyed that in MM and I'm hoping there will be even more about it we can customize this time around.

This game is not really so different. The similar graphic was in the older games.

I was just thinking on this. Like GBC being the first handheld generation, (M)FoMT and DS(Cute) being the second, IoH - ToTT being the third and LoB - being the fourth. Of course, they are the same game, just the graphics changed with the consoles (with exception of HMDS, which had GBA graphics)

harvest moon is harvest moon, you know? some good changes, some bad ones, but I have never really encountered a harvest moon game that I absolutely hate to the point that I flat out refused to play it. I'm someone who's been playing the games since the harvest moon on gbc first came out, so you can bet I've seen a LOT of changes to the games. I don't necessarily see the series moving in a bad direction though. I play on getting this one as well!

The graphics remind me of the versions on gaming systems with better graphics. I'll probably miss the 2D landscape but i guess having a 3D world will help get me into the game.

I think the new game looks awesome, looks like a console game but for handheld instead ^^

I'm not all that excited about it at the moment. It kind of looks like it has a bit of animal crossing to it which is just... not working for me... I don't really like any of the characters shown so far either. I'll wait for more information about the game. I'm betting once they release a good looking bachelor (to my standards) I'll be totally for the game. I know the game isn't just about romance but it's still one of my favourite parts ^^'. I'm kind of interested in the multi level farming though.
