Bluebell, cause if you get everything in both villages, you still be able to use the farmland in Konohana, and Bluebell can hold much more animals.

I prefer Bluebell to Konohana because to me it looks prettier.
I can still use the fields in Konohana so it's not a big deal to me. Also, one of the reasons is because I cannot see Mikhail living in Konohana, he doesn't fit in there so that's another reason for me to stay in Bluebell xD

I think in terms of farms, I'd rather live in Bluebell. You can still use the stuff in Kono and have the really big pasture at the same time. Yeah, they probably could have messed with that a little better (like roped off parts of Kono) so that you lose stuff by living in Bluebell just like you lose stuff by living in Kono (like the big barns). But with how it's set up now, I personally don't mind that you can have both the big pasture and the big fields by living Blue.
But I kind of like the Kono characters more. Sheng is hilarious (found it annoying at first) and I love the river that flows through to the south (yeah, that's not a character).
I still think Blue has more perks though, even if using the Kono fields is sort of silly. Hey, if the game's going to let me, it's legal. Just cause I don't live there doesn't mean I don't own it~

If the game let's you it is because some stupid game producer didn't think about locking the "cut the grass" feature on Konohana while you're living at Bluebell. If they did, you could not cut it, and this would avoid that you could plow the land, and so on. Of course, the trees would still work, but the trees are something out of it. I don't live there but it is still mine? It is just cuz you don't have a rival farner coming to the game.

a simpler solution would be to not let you enter the player-farm screen of the town you are not living in. Especially, since looking at the japanese wiki for the villa (90mil upgrade once you have literally every other upgrade) says
"The villa can be home in a nearby village and bring an end to any expansion in both villages. Errand said what "I wonder freely want to use both at home in the village?" he said. As described, will have a free pass to the other's home village."
obviously it's not translated perfectly, but to me that reads like paying 90mil to gain the ability to enter the other farm's house (the one thing you cannot do on the farm you do not live on). Would have been better if this 90mil unlocked the ability to use the farm (with it being locked unless you lived in it) imo.

And this where people play differently. I would kind of like it if there was a rival farmer there in that other farm because it creates a rivalry, but then it may prevent moving, or you'd be forcing the opposing farmer to be moving as well, and then I imagine there'd be more complaints along the lines of "how unfair I can't use those features in that other farm" etc.
IMO, by using the Kono fields while living in Blue is exploiting parts of the game that either the producers looked over or didn't really think it would be a big deal. So some of us are going to think we shouldn't use the other farm, and some of us are going to think it's no big deal, hence coming down to how each player plays an open-ended game that allows for each player to get their own personal experience
(side note: the different experience for each player based on where they live and how they use their farm and the other farm and when they upgrade is my favorite feature: none of us are playing this game the same way). All the same, tt's the Kono field exploitation that makes Blue my favorite place to be.

Don't misunderstandme, please. It is not like I'm telling all the people to see it as undue use. It is just that, as a Konohana farmer, I feel like I am in a disadvantage, just cuz Bluebell people can use the fields from the start. You like Bluebell because you can use Kono fields. Would you still like it if you were in my place?

Nope, which is why I'm not buying a lot of animals right now so when I move to Kono at the end of my first year to do all its upgrades, I'm not missing out on much and will be eventually "retiring" to Bluebell so I can still use all the stuff Kono has to offer. Kono is at a disadvantage because they can't use that larger pasture, but ah, you chose to live there and you aren't forced to stay. If you were, I'd have much more sympathy.

If I want the waterwhell to make better seeds, I am forced to stay there. Wich is my case.

While you're right, that we did choose to stay here and because of that, we don't get the large pasture, that pasture is not in any way pulling me to move to bluebell. While you upgrade how many cows you can get, I can upgrade my field and make even more profit with my crops =]

mmmm there's plenty of other reasons to like Bluebell other than being able to use the Konohana fields. I probably wouldn't even use the fields to begin with but I don't have the game so I can't really say. Then again, I'd probably get annoyed with running back and forth.
And other people seem to manage.

@Origon: You may think like that, but I want an alpaca >_< wich, with the ammount of livestock I'm able to have atm, I can't.
@HMaddict:): I do understand your point about "there are lots of other reasons for people to like Bluebell", but I am not talking about the people who, like you, like Bluebell for Bluebell. I am saying that for people who say that likek Bluebell BECAUSE they can use the Konohana fields.. Do you get it now?
I don't know why I'm being so harsh about this, but it is just that it bothers me so much that I can't help it. Sorry.

Bluebell has more perks, but I feel that I like Konohana better as a village and I haven't even lived there yet.

Could someone post actual pictures of both farm lands and the amount of field space you get in both? I'm waiting for the 3DS version so it would be really helpful because I too and trying to figure out which town will have more perks.
