dont think so, but they warn you about things that are ep specific. just two things realy, if your getting seasons.
you will need to replace any parsim basegame fridges with their Seasons counterparts
(but u can leave their old ones in, they shoulnt mess ur game up)
make sure to update any other fridges because THOSE ones are useualy a basegame OR seasons only thing.
if u only have EA and parsim ones you should be ok.

other thing is to make sure all ur self built houses have a flat roof under the other one because when you make homes yourself,
we can miss corners or bits of roofing out. befor seasons, it didnt matter as there was no rain or snow.
after, if u missed a bit, youll know as soon as it rains or snows as the roofs leak! and ur sims whine... A LOT lol.
the updates to the fridges are to allow them to store leftovers.
great for famlies as if a grown up cooks a group meal, a kid can still go use the 'get leftovers' action in the fridge actions menu

What are you guys preferred sites other then Modthesims?

well, i love Garden of Shadows becasue of all the grunge stuff that i grabbed recently, and parsimoious too.
via GoS i found some realy great peoples dreamweaver sites like Hat plays the sims (allmighty Hat's place for all those medievil players. replacemnt defalts for just about everyhting in game ^^)

but generaly, i like sites that dont require me to regester to download free items, or regester to just even SEE things.
drives me nuts when i get a link for a recolor from someplace, and the site is totaly restricted so i cant even SEE the thing (one of my personal gripes where it comes to sims content) and i kinda hate regestering for just one or two free items. when a site is a great one like MtS or GoS, i dont mind regestering. but after my sims1 days, and how hard it was back then...regester..wait...get allowed...find its got a dozen usefull things for me and a hundres things i didnt actualy want lol....
i now ended up using a yahoo adress that i made for spare F2P games (becaue sometimes, you just NEED 2 accounts, becasue they want you to spend spend SPEND! to get bagspace XD or bankspace..or just to even have more than one character at a time..and i have Alt-itis...im an Altaholic, and a Craftaholic) to join yahoo groups for old sims1 downloads. the only thing i realy need now for sims1 is the old simsnobs egyptian slavegirl and slaveboy items. but i cant even get a clone of them from a freesite and i think the actual sites gone gloryhole (you know, you go to someplace and its sudenly been bought up by some advert spam company, trying to sell you junk, and when you try to leave the site, it whines, gives you a 'do you REALY want to leave the site?' and if you click anything..i mean ANYTHING, even the little x box that normal shuts windows down...you just KNOW its going to hit you with some wretched toolbar or drive by download or browser hijacker >.>)

oh, turns out, the piggi sims place? its gone too. all the contents been redirected to blackys sims zoo, as MissPiggi has died this year

yeah, its a wreck..but its *supposed* to be XD its a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! *chuckle*
course, right now, i havent got a single zombie installed, the folder with the mods is on the desktop and im still rebuilding /creating the hood and lots. next up is the university that i can trash when the *event* hits, so that once my Founder gets their kiddies to uni level, he/she can send them away to the derelict island coverd in busted buildings..to get a degree..wonder what in? lmao
