Yeah that was what confused me. I didn't tame a chipsqueek so I thought they did because someone posted that the blue ones and the Kingsqueeks grow them.

And the sticks I posted about earlier for the Spring Flowers are Thin Sticks like the kind that the golem in Elena's shop sold. I forgot to right the "thin" part.

It's a Fuwo. They are the traditional Chipsqueek variation.
They appear at the locations at E-8 and G-7.

As for the Mantis, they can be found on the island at C-3 and the shipwreck at F-6.

And I have confirmed that the Fuwo do grow both oak and maple.

As for the black unicorns they are called Cone, they grow Pineapple, Charm Blue, Noel Flowers, and Emery Flowers.

Mantis also make GREAT combat monsters early in the game for their sickle spread projectiles.

The regular unicorns are called Unico, they are found in the Wind Temple and hanging garden at H-4.
They grow Cabbages, Moon Drops, and Spring Flowers.

Both the Unico and Cone drop Teardrops and Hard Horns.

Silver Wolves are found in the Water Temple and grow Turnips, Peppers, and Eggplants.

Hunter Wolves are found in the Wind Temple and grow Carrots, Pumpkins, and Soybeans.

Little Wizards are found at the Water Shrine. They grow Turnips, Eggplants, and Pumpkins.

Little Emperors are found at the Wind Shrine. They grow Carrots, Pumpkins, and Soybeans.

Awesome, I was waiting for a monster to grow carrots. I keep getting all excited about making curry for Quinn and Kelsey and I die a little inside everytime I realize I don't have them yet.D':
