The trick is to run away from the monsters so they get bigger on the screen but are not yett off screen.

Which is kinda hard to time and also why there are often body parts of Azel in the picture xD

Well, Cher says there's nothing that can really be done about DarkMoonSlayer stealing our guide and our work.

So I have submitted this guide to Gamefaqs, and hopefully they'll post our version which is far more complete. At least then we'll get our credit.

Still, again thanks everyone for your hard work. Let's continue to make this one of the best monster guides we can. =)

Elementals can spawn out of regular gates too.

I was in Water shrine and there were no shiny gates and the water elemental spawned with several other monsters.

Really? Are you sure you didn't take out a special gate at the time? Have you beaten the main plot? Are Azel and Sonia separated?

Has any other players also experienced an elemental spawning from anything other then the special gate? this need investigating. >.>

Also, great new everyone. Gamefaqs has removed DarkMoonSlayer's monster guide. I sent them our guide, so hopefully they'll accept that and put it up. And we won't have to hear another word about our guide being ripped off. xD (at least for now...my head hurts from all this. xD)

You said they only spawn from the shiny gate after you destroy it, but I destroyed no gate and it spawned with other monsters. AND I haven't beaten the main plot or separated Sonja and Aden.

I was really surprised myself.o_o

Or It might of been a glitch? My game has been supper glitchy lately and It wouldn't let me befriend it, like I brushed at least 20 times -___-
