Nope. You can't delete posts but you can edit them~

Actually, it DID use to be that you could delete your post as long as nobody else had posted and it was still the last post. But during the big server move a while back, that feature was suddenly removed. I'm assuming the goal was to keep members who wrote nasty posts from removing the evidence to avoid getting into trouble for it. That's my guess, anyway.

it could also be that the new forum software (not sure when cher switched over to the newer phpBB version and if this happened around that time?) might not allow it.

i wouldn't know, since i can delete any posts.



if there's a post within a thread you want to get rid of, just edit the content out. if there's a new thread you want gone, report the thread and say something like "requesting lock" (it might be helpful to edit the subject line to something like "lock please," also). if there's a duplicate thread or post, then report the duplicate, and we will take care of it.
