My game of ToTT DS hasn't frozen either and I don't think it will. (in these circumstances at least) The problems in some cases are really severe. It seems like the Konohana side isn't as bad as the bluebell. And some people are having no problems at all. So I'm glad I have the DS version so I can still play while they fix the 3DS version. :D

my 3ds version never lags, but froze for the third time within a week today.
it happened at first from going from one place to another, but then it just froze when i was walking down a path.

mine froze twice.... once while on the konoha message board and one while switching places on the mountain....

Does anyone know if they're planning to release a fix for this? Mine is freezing every day! Like, I get through a day, I go to sleep, and then at some point the next day it freezes. I tried putting my 3DS to sleep after each day but that hasn't helped... if anything, it's made things worse!!

i've experienced freezing twice so far and i've been playing the game for about a week. i wonder if it's to do with having 2 save files? because when I only had one save file with my farm in Konohana Village I experienced no freezing.

anyone notice this? with save files? just a theory of mine.

Mine froze with only one save file. I was the only one playing it. When I found out that you may not glitch if you live in Konohana I made a new save file then. So no. :/

mine is getting really bad... it's freezing up every 20-30 minutes of gameplay (real time) and i think today I had to restart my system at least 8 times today =/ it's starting to get really annoying.

it wasn't this bad until I restarted my game...

I don't play with the 3D on except for cut scenes and it's always in the mountain area loading from one section to the next, but it's not just between two specific sections, it randomly happens when going to any section of the mountain... it's really starting to bother me...

I waited for this game with such great anticipation... this is kind of a let down... because I really do love this game...

I love the game too. It seems people are experiencing different waves of it. I don't think all the 3DS games actually experience that much lagging and freezing. It may just be yours. But however most of the seem to experience it. But I only heard one other person complain about it to your degree. But I'd just wait until natsume fixes it.

I heard they were working on it... but im wondering how they plan to fix it? just send out a downloadable patch? or how is it possible for them to fix it?

it's really annoying to have to restart every day, but I don't mind it so much when it's only 9 AM i just wonder if it's actually good for my system to just be shut off like that??? o.o" my 3DS is my baby and I don't want any damage to happen to it T_T

Yes they are working on it. The "cartridge" games aren't like discs so a patch may not work in this case. Due to the lack of information it can hold. Most likely they would have you send in your "broken" game and they would send you a fixed one. The reason why I said don't play it. You'll probably lose your info. If they come out with a patch though your info would be fine.

However if they came out with a patch you'd have to have space to save it on then you would be stuck with it. But see anytime you load a game on the PS3 or Xbox 360 it checks for updates. Wii checks for system updates. However you have to check for updates on the DSi & 3DS and manually accept them. They don't check the disc for updates so most likely don't have the capacity to allow patches to work on their systems. Plus! You'd have to have your system continuously with wifi on. That's why it's not a problem on consoles because they stay in one spot. But with handelds that is not probable. So most likely it will result in you getting a updated version of the game. Which is WAY more costly than a patch. They have to manufacturer a bunch of new games!

now i kind of wish there was a way to back our game data up on the memory card that came with the 3DS... T_T but I just started the game over (i was so sad because I was almost ready for cam to do his reverse proposal) so now I'm back at square one... it'd suck to do it again, but oh well... it'd be worth another fresh start if they fix the game.
