Today and Yesterday's Update!

I have gotten no where either days. I caught a cold. :'( Hopefully, I'll recover soon to continue my quest.

I still haven't figured out good goals for Innocent Life & HM 2 GBC. They are supposed to be played for 2 and 3 years, respectively. So I'm asking you, my audience, what should I shoot for?

Up and Coming!

Tomorrow I'm hoping to finish HM SNES to be honest this whole time wasn't a waste I came up with my calendar to know exactly what I'm doing day by day until the end of summer. Hopefully I'll get 5 hearts for Ellen and get Married.

Next up: N64, HM 3 GBC, ILSE.

Goals for the up and coming:

For N64: Get Married? I'm not sure what else my goal should be. Any ideas?

HM 3 GBC: Get Married! :D

ILSE: Play to year one! (win :) or lose :( )

Other Info.

Interesting Fact: I'm playing the virtual console of the SNES and this site says it takes 6 days for a chick to hatch while in my game it takes 3. :D

Random info: I bought Rayman Origins (and still got the pre-order edition even though it already came out) and got River King Mystic Valley free!! :D Yay amazon! This is my second River King game. Woot!

Due to me being so incredibly sick obviously nothing happened yesterday. However I'm feeling better today! So Progress will be made. However while I was sick I was able to work on my drawing for the drawing contest. Check it out!

Trying to get more people to join from this site because the prize is too good to have the biggest harvest moon fans pass up! :D

I'll post later today the update! <3

Today's Update!

GAME COMPLETE!!!

Harvest Moon (SNES on VC)
Time Started: 1pm EST 11/13/2011; Time Completed: 7:30pm EST 11/21/2011
Current Progress: Fall 11th Year 1. 4110G; 1 Chicken, 1 chick, 1 egg (had 12 but sold them all so I could have enough grass to buy a cow); 1 calf.
Other info - Name: Mel; Dog: Jake; 57 of fodder; 2nd house upgrade. Sickle and hoe upgraded. 5 Powerberries. Married to Ellen at 10 hearts!

Time for some long awaited goals!

In N64, I am going to marry Elli! I may play the year out but I will focus on marring her. If I feel I've accomplished enough I'll end there.

In HM2GBC, I'm going to play the whole year! I thought alot of the festivals needed to be seen since they were new and the whole "friendships" needed to be played.

In IL, I'm going to play a whole year! I'm going to see how this plays out since I don't know much about this game but it was super cheap at gamestop so I bought it. I hope it's good! If it's not as good I'll probably end at the end of summer.

Up and Coming!!

I hope to finish N64 & HM2GBC this week. Thanksgiving may be pretty busy but the rest of the week looks clear. My goal for IL is to finish it by the beginning of next week.

We already know ILSE replaces IL & HM3GBC replaces HM2GBC, but my newly started game HM64 will be replaced by HM BtN!!! :D *confetti* So that will be the next on my list!

Other info.

I'm looking forward to having this week be nice and smooth with continuous game play.

I will note so far other than "HMFF & HMMLS" I have started these fresh from day one due to never playing these games before. However we are getting to the point where I will already have save files on these games, in that case the goals will be different, or I may start a few over.

Example: HM FoMT - Play to the end of the second year. Instead of getting to the end of the first. However if the game is easily played from the beginning like AWL due to save files available I will start from the beginning. It all has to do with whether of not I can keep my really good save file and not lose all that progress.

Harvest Moon GBC Progress:

IS TOTALLY UPSET ABOUT THIS!!!!! I played multiple days on this game to have my game file vanish!!! I now must by a battery to replace it. :( Stupid ebay seller....
My goal this week: Replace the battery at play to the 5th of spring. -.-

Thanks! I thought the title fit well. :P Not only us it awesome to relive the past memories but you see where the ideas came from and what it grew on. So that is totally super awesome. But the ultra comes from the realization that there are so MANY games. @.@ :D So far its fun!

Today's update!

Sorry for no update yesterday! It was down-pouring as I was driving was stuck in the car for hours. :(
As for today I did a lot of running around and played a few days in Innocent Life. However that game takes forever for a day to end so may take way longer than the other Harvest Moon games.

I just re-read your posts? Are you already find goal for IL.?? You could find it through game line so I not tell you. But you could finish it at 1 year.

See if I don't have a goal like: get married, get an ending, ship 1,000 crops or something the goal becomes beat a year. To be honest because the time is longer than harvest moon games I may shorten it.

Now I'm only shortening these games for the purpose of this runthrough but am having so much fun I'll go back and play them once im done. However with cooking and preparing for thanksgiving I'll have to push off playing more until Friday. :)

omg

I admire you

PLAY ALL THE HARVEST MOON GAMES!

dude even if I owned half the games/consoles that you do, I wouldn't do it. talk about being a recluse.

anyway... I'm in awe. but make sure you send a little text to your loved ones telling them you're alive and well... you don't want them to file a missing persons claim...

Oh, I own way too many video games, not just harvest moon. I have so many consoles and all in working condition except for my NES I just need a new RF cable. But I purchased the older games (or had them given as presents) since my first harvest moon game was AWL, I didn't have very many older ones. So I purchased them but never played them. So I felt that they were going unloved. I was going to do it anyways so I thought I'd share it with harvest moon fans.

I don't have to worry about that I still live with them. ;.; Though I am way too old to be doing that I found it cheaper than getting my own apartment. And to be honest with the progress I have made, I still have time for other video games. (like Rayman Origins 100% already XD) I have time to eat and get on here. Plus draw for the drawing contest. :P I'm a busy person. I'll have a new update today, too!
