It's such a really long and specific thing to write about, though. It'd be a huge wall of tl;dr. Didn't want to come off as condescending either.

I don't think Marlin and Celia are necessarily relatives. It only specifically states that she is Vesta's relative (and a distant one at that, too), and honestly I feel like the two siblings share a rather tenuous genetic relationship anyway because of a number of things in AnWL (particularly that weird-« Mr.Gourmet's hat » conversation between Vesta and Marlin if you marry him).

So yeah, I don't think anything particularly icky is actually going on~

I don't agree. I think that Marlin and Vesta are related by blood. So if Celia is related by blood to Vesta she must also be related to Marlin.

But Celia could be related to Vesta's husband so she could be related by law to Vesta and not by blood. So then she wouldn't be related to Marlin.

Either way it's not a big deal. Just an interesting thing they added the characters.

Yes, Marlin and Vesta are siblings. It says so in the game XD. But we were talking about whether they are genetically related or not. I think they are related by blood but I'm not sure if Ketchup Pax does.

No, I think they are related. I just think they are half-siblings since hey, why not. That could explain how Celia could be related to Vesta, but not Marlin. That is, through the unshared parent.

As for the entry involving Takakura, I bet it was an eyebrow related accident. Or something.

Oh half siblings. I thought you meant they were adopted or something. That makes sense but I still doubt it. If they were half siblings I bet they would have mentioned it in these info card things X3.
