how do I change direction while making a trech? i want one trench to cover a large area but i dont know how to turn and connect the trenches.....

What I do is I just keep pressing the A button and just move the control pannel. Unless you're constantly changing directions, it should work.

And if you accidentally stop. You could continue your trenches by dig your last area and continue make your trenches as long as you want (and you can)
