So sorry to double post, but I have a theory!
Spoiler:
Raul likes Laney. This is based almost purley on GrB, so if you haven't played it, I'll elaborate:
Raul was in love with a pretty, blonde waitress named Marian in GrB. His love was never returned, so he moved to Konohana. Here he found another girl similiar to her, and fell in love again. This is why he has macho man requests. Yet his love is still not returned... But he stays cheerful because he remembers Marian and feels almost traitorous loving another while Marian still has no one, so he consequently is almost glad that Laney takes no notice of him whatsoever. Also his personality is just so awsome and happy that it is nearly impossible for the guy to be sad.

he spends the day frolicking in the flowers
I know this is a horrible thought but what you said made me think of
Spoiler:
Twilight
;o; Don't kill me!
so then...
Spoiler:
...Cam would be Edward? i mean, i can totally imagine him getting the glitter from Howard, but i never really liked Edward in the books. Kana would also definitely be Jacob what with the tattoos and such (and best friend attitude). i can actually imagine the ToTT cast fitting in with the Twilight (like Laney=Alice, Georgia=Rosalie, Hiro=Seth, Mako=Sam), scarily.
don't worry, i hated the movies, but i liked the books. i've actually had to do multiple book reports on the series, so the cast is ingrained in my mind now 0_0

Oh yea.. I definitely loved the book, but when the movie came out.. I changed my mind :/ don't get me wrong, I still love the book.. The movie is just different.Ok enough twilight talk.. I can't imagine hm being twilight.. Can anyone write a fanfic about that? XD nevermind.. I'm gonna play the game further more to write more theories.. But tell me a theory why Mako asks for failed dishes
*oh and since we're talking about movies.. I hope The Hunger Games doesn't disappoint me.. I ReALLY love that book and if the movie ruins it.. I'm gonna live my life like a zombie.. I'm already disappointed about peeta.. Sorta

For his bomb he's making

Maybe he's trying to kill Reina...or that's her punishment when she doesn't help him

No wonder Reina's so lifeless... Ok speaking of Reina.. Another theory why the hell she's like that?

She's living with a pirate that sells fruit. She's obviously depressed
Or she's high all the time because of all of the plants she's around.
I'm ashamed of myself, I'm usually more creative than this

*I'll just use my last theory to explain this*
Spoiler:
It's her trauma! She came all the way from <wherever she lived before> to Konohana to live with Mako so she could get some clues about her father, with no success. She is very smart, but she plays the lifeless and inattentive person so her uncle never suspects it!

if they ruin the Hunger Games for me, there WILL be blood
Mako uses the failed dishes in fertilizers for a friend of his, just like it says in the game. everyone knows that Mako has a thing for Ayame... making her a friend. now what Ayame grows with the fertilizer, we will never know.
Spoiler:
maybe after you take on her requests, she plants the poison mushrooms and such in a secret underground field.
As for Reina, she is a scientist, so of course she would seem calculating.
Spoiler:
she's actually more calculating than you'd think though. Reina wishes to take over the world one day, and she creates plants of mass destruction to do so. we can thank the mad scientist Daryll, who took the young Reina under his wing before she moved in with her uncle, for the crazy person she has become.
i really need to stop drinking coffee and mountain dew...

I love it.
Here's my...not as interesting but (sadly) realistic theory about Reina:
Spoiler:
Her father traveled everywhere, studying the flora, and brought his daughter along with him.
Though not a cruel man, he was very absorbed in his studies, and didn't make much time to teach his daughter life skills, or talk to her about personal matters. So even when she was with him while he studied the plants, Reina always felt alone.
When she was very young, she had difficulty with their type of life; wherever they went and stayed for a while, she would make friends with other children there. But then her father would finish his studies in that location and be ready to immediately pick up and leave. So Reina was torn away from her new friends every time, just when she was starting to feel close to them and secure. In addition, she was always "the new girl." So she felt left out among her friends, who had known each other much longer than they'd known her.
Eventually, it became too painful to lose her friends over and over again, and never have someone she could share her secrets with. As a defense mechanism against the pain, her personality changed to become much colder and introverted.
But she still subconsciously sought out some kind of feeling of security and stability. And she found it...in plants. Even though she and her father were constantly finding new types of flora, there were always some she had seen before elsewhere. And they were always the same. A red rose in one country is the same as one in another.
While her father would be examining different plants and gathering data, she would lie in a field of flowers, surrounded by quiet, peaceful, colorful flora that felt like friends. She would talk to them, and they seemed to listen. They made her feel safe.
Eventually, she left to attend a university and become a botanist, then, as we know, moved to Konohana to live with Mako.
Not my best theory...but it's kinda personal. A lot of it is from my own experience.
