Was curious what everyone names the animals in the games. Is there a certain theme you stick with?

The pets I name random stuff that my husband suggests. Horse is always Epona though.
All my cows start with a M and have an O in it somewhere.
-Moooooo
-Magooo
-Mango

Sheep all start with E
-Elanor (Bioshock 2 reference)
-Elly
-Ellen

Chickens are name after the members of Shinee
-Onew
-Key
-Minho
-Junghn (because Junghyun is to long)
-Taemin (always the youngest one)

Haven't gotten to year 2 yet so I have no idea what I'll name my Alpacas....

Well my dog is always named Ty because I have a dog named Ty, and my cat is always named Jam after my cat Jamaica that ran away. I really don't care about my horse in my games, I always end up ignoring them. So I don't really pay attention to what I name them.

I always have a sheep named Snow, and my cow is either Babs or something with an M, like Mags or Moo.

My names for chickens are like the first thing that pops in my head, so those can be interesting sometimes. Once I named a bunch of chickens after Harry Potter characters XD

I'm not very original. I name my animals with the letter they start with. i.e: Cow is Clara;Chicken is CeCe;Sheep are Sammy and Lucy. I'll probably name my Alpaca's Ally and Amy or some such nonsense. Its probably not the best idea, considering the fact that Cow and Chicken start with the same letter, so it requires I get very creative.... But I do have a few exceptions.

In some of the older games I'd name my chickens A, B, C, D and so forth because I couldn't think of anything better.

Cows:
Belle
Birtha
Betsy

0.o

Sheep:
Serbs (after a friend)

Chickens:
uhhh...
Paige
Penis
Pimoan (again after a friend lolol)
um... « Cow Poopoo », I forgot what I named the last one.

My dogs are Harry and... Poop, I believe.

I named my horse Cigar because I was really craving a cigarette at the time ahahah.

Usually I do have some sort of scheme, but I rushed the naming this game.

Well, I was bored and decided that I wanted my animals' names to be silly, so I named them all after 'shii' adjectives.

Horse
Yarashii (Keep in mind this is in Japanese, so it's only 4 letters, not 8.)

Chickens
Ureshii
Tanoshii

Cows
Sabishii

Sheep
Iyashii
Netamashii

Cats
Itoshii

Dogs
Kuyashii
Yasashii

Owl
Kuwashii

My next animal (likely a Jersey Cow) will be named Hazukashii.

Beyond that, I'm going to need a dictionary...

Well...

I named my first chicken Kiki (after the chicken I tried to raise without a coop in HMDS Cute ;u;)
I forget what I named my second chicken

I named my first cow Baa
I named my first sheep Moo
I named my second cow Nyan (for Nyan cat, or something...)
I forget what I named my second sheep... some animal noise, I think.

And I have no clue what I named that horse.

I started off naming all my animals after spices and herbs, but I started running out of ones that fit the six letter limit so I started using flowers too.
